Only one guy at 170 that might be able to beat Swick. Just can't remember his name.:SIB

I dont get it.

It's looking like i'll be on Wiman and Yoshida.

Yoshida is WAY too big of a dog... he has been focused on Koscheck for two months, while Kos surely had a mental setback after the smackdown that Alves served him. I think this is important b/c Yoshida is not easily prepared for... he has a very different style... good BJJ and judo-style submissions/pins, plus world-class throws.

I think Kos is an overrated fighter right now... Lytle just sucked when he fought Koscheck, it wasnt that Kos was awesome. And i dont believe Josh has knockout power.... he beat Hazelett via TKO (set up by head kick), but i dont see that situation happening again...

Also, the whole controversy between the UFC and AKA is still not completely cleared up... Koscheck has to have that in the back of his mind going into this fight. Wrong fight to try and prove something to Dana, which is exactly what i think Kos wants to do.

As for the Wiman fight, he's sure to be well prepared b/c he was originally set to face Frankie Edgar. His BJJ has improved greatly, as has his striking (see Tavares fight). Miller is taking this fight on short notice and is admittedly not in top condition.

UFC bet - Jim Miller

UFC bet - Jim Miller

[Ticket #: 49317227] STRAIGHT BET
12/10/2008 @ 06:00 PM MU [31510] JIM MILLER -130
(MATT WIMAN vrs JIM MILLER)
409.50 315.00

Taking Jim Miller -130, Wiman is the name the public knows and is coming off an upset win over tavares. Miller is a up and coming jitz fighter that is little known to ufc fans. I see Miller controlling the fight on the ground not allowing Wiman to scramble and avoiding a standup battle.

odds = $2.04 *4 Joe Rogans
:scared :scared

Ok, as I stated earlier (and raw as well) Kos has got lots going on, taking Yoshida at such big odds seems like the smart thing to do. I mean how could ya not take a shot at Yoshi at those odds

Sponge loves Swick, and Swick is damn good, but should he be such a huge fav against a very game and tough mother :142hump: like Goulet? Umm kickserv says no, and he's taking a shot at the :mj23:

Wiman as an underdog....enough said.

Now for the big time Rogans on the parlay.......Fioravanti should have no problem with Farber and Saunders should have no problem with Wolff. As for the hype surrounding Razak. Well yes he is undefeated, but not even I know who the hell any of those dudes he's beaten are:confused: Sponge makes fun of me all the time saying I know every MMA fighter out there, but the guys Razak have fought I think Kimbo has wins over:00x12........Cantwell will be highly motivated, and I think he'll dominate Al-Hussan. And besides, Al-Hussan has the worst photo I have evr seen on UFC.com, I mean check it out:

What the hell :mj07:

I am taking Swick. Even at -400, I think this is easy money.

I am also taking Razak at +260. As Kick has said, he has fought nobody's but I have heard nothing but good things from people who train with him. I am not impressed with Cantwell or Brian Stann for that matter.

I would have been all over Jim Millar as an underdog but his odds are shite. I believe he will still win but short notice can kill the better fighter. Think Spencer Fischer vs Sam Stout.

GOOD LUCK ALL!!!! :toast:

"the bunker"
swick wins....but i can`t lay the wood....the rest is garbage(gambling wise),although i was looking hard at loughran and yoshida.......miller is solid, but wiman is capable and unpredictable and fights hard for a full 9 minutes......and theres the "short notice" issue...

was considering a sanchez/swick par,but i noticed that mccully doesn`t get knocked out and sanchez is pretty much a stand-up fighter...and mccully hung on long enough to decision stand-up guy antoni hardonk(who beat sanchez,btw).....

now say that fast 3 times...lol

that`s my endearing way of saying,"f-ck it...i don`t need the aggravation on a wednesday".....

waiting till saturday....

g.l. guys...

weepaul and his 12.5 million bankroll is aginst me:(

Madjack crew is disaray:scared

Also...I agree Cantwell is no GSP (well nobody is..LOL) but at least I have heard of Cantwell :142smilie Razak may have "looked good" and is "training well" but this ain't boxing, you can't fight complete unknowns forever. I think Razek will buckle to the pressure of being on national TV, and Cantwell will beat him. Of course as I said Cantwell isn't exactly amazing either, but he should be ok with being on national TV. Hype can only take ya so far:)

Just a few for me....

Yoshida +230 MEDIUM

Kos will prob grind this out, but he JUST FOUGHT in a brutal fight (the losing end of it), and he himself said he has been training for six straight months and its draining. This combined with the distractions behind the scenes is enough for me to take a shot. I like the odds. At even I go with JK, but +230? I like it.

It does concern me that the early money seems to have gone on Kos, but what the hell...

Was going to take Cantwell, but then I saw the guy he is fighting...he's HUGE! NO PLAY for me.

PARLAY

Swick
Saunders

I think Swick will hit easy, riding with you on Saunders, kick. I think he's the better athlete here. More physical advantages.

Wiman-Miller....short notice thing scares me....NO PLAY

Overall I feel the WEC card last week was WAY easier to cap. This one is all over the place. Just my take.

Saving my big money this week for boxing, unless the TUF finale has some nice odds. Interested to see what the odds will be for the Kevin Burns-Anthony Johnson rematch.

Good luck fellas.

Well if Kos goes down, there will be some happy madjackers. As for the other fights, looks like we are all over the place.

Oh and Razek may be huge, but that picture of him just makes me laugh, not tremble:mj07:

Yeah.... Razek is either gonna be a beast or flop with the first punch he is hit with....

How's that for a prediction....

He looks like Tommy Hearns...

:mj07:

Yes, it's true. Thomas Hearns and Razak Al-Hussan were separated at birth... who woulda thunk it?

For tonight im playing.......

Matt Wiman (+115)....... 1.5 Ginas

Yoshiyuki Yoshida (+210)...... .5 Ginas

-5.13 Ginas in MMA since 6/21/08..... i expect both of the fights im betting on to be very competitive...

I expect Wiman to push the pace having had an extra month of training than Miller..... i think he beats Miller by decision. Also really looking forward to seeing Cantwell again... love his footwork, it's just plain pretty. :)

Oscar DeLahoya totally Fuked up my bankroll bud. I am now down to less than a million :scared :mj07:

You could be right about Razak. I don't know how true this is but I just read on one of the forums from a guy who claims to train at the same academy as Razak and he is putting his money on Cantwell by KO :scared :scared

I will stick with my losing bet. A guy who looks THAT MUCH like Tommy Hearns has a chance in my book :mj07:
I just think Cantwell is nothing special.

LAST MINUTE BETS!!!

Miller to beat Wiman at -130. Even on short notice I still think Miller controls Wiman.

Hartt to beat Hill at +240. I know Hill is 7 ft tall but this is a battle of sluggers and Hartt trains at Sityadong. That's good enough for me to take a chance.

Good luck boys!!! :toast:
