Fight Card
-------------------
-Joe Lauzon vs. Jeremy Stephens
-Cain Velasquez vs. Denis Stojnic
-Mac Danzig vs. Josh Neer
-Nick Catone vs. Amir Sadollah
-Kurt Pellegrino vs. Rob Emerson
-Jake Rosholt vs. Dan Miller
-Matt Grice vs. George Sotiropoulos
-Rich Clementi vs. Gleison Tibau

Some good fights on free tv, sadly we may not be able to see Rich Clementi vs. Gleison Tibau or Anthony Johnson vs. Luigi Fioravanti. Why the UFC may not show those fights is beyond me, but oh well:( Guess we will have to see if we get lucky and can see those fightskurby

Fighter vs. Fighter 112-170
Parlays 52-73

+21.01 Joe Rogans

Under the "what the fuc*" file..........Why in the love of fuc* is Bruno an underdog:scared

Sign me up....I'm in:

Steve Bruno beat Matt Riddle $2.00 *2 Joe Rogans

Sorry, this line makes no sense to me at all, not at all. Yes I suppose I am getting sucked in, but I am on this now, by fight time there is no way Bruno will still be a :mj23:

May I remind you that Matt Riddle is 1-0, that's right 1-0. And he's a fav against a guy who is 13-4. And Bruno did look good against Johnny Rees in his last fight.

Also..........Jeremy Stephens ain't getting much love from the oddsmakers. And why isn't Cain Velasquez fighting better competition:confused: If Denis "The Menace" Stojnic beats Cain, Cain is :142hump:

Main event:

155 lbs.: Joe Lauzon (17-4) vs. Jeremy Stephens

Main card (Televised):

265 lbs.: Cain Velasquez (4-0) vs. Denis Stojnic (5-1)
155 lbs.: Mac Danzig (18-5-1) vs. Josh Neer (24-7-1)
170 lbs.: Anthony Johnson (6-2) vs. Luigi Fioravanti (14-4)

Under card (May not be broadcast):

155 lbs.: Kurt Pellegrino (12-4) vs. Rob Emerson (8-6)
185 lbs.: Dan Miller vs. Jake Rosholt (5-0)
155 lbs.: Matt Grice (9-1) vs. Matt Veach
155 lbs.: Gleison Tibau (15-6) vs. Rich Clementi (32-13-1)
185 lbs.: Nick Catone (5-0) vs. Derek Downey (10-3)
170 lbs.: Matt Riddle vs. Steve Bruno

I'd like to bump either the Pellegrino fight or the Miller fight to the main card.

My money is on Miller. Rosholt is not a good MMA fighter yet, AND he gasses quickly..... Miller by submission.

yea, if i could get Pellegrino at -180 or better i would be on him as well. everything seemed to click with him last fight, he looked great against Tavares!

I think that was his first fight with Dellagrotte.... he and the Florian brothers have really taken Kurt under their wing. Read an article a while back and Kurt was talking about how much working with Kevin Kearns (strength/conditioning coach for Sityodtong/Dellagrotte) and Kenny Florian has helped him as far as diet and all-around preparation was concerned.

I really like Luigi based on those odds.. He has as strong a chin as anyone in MMA and can earn the respect of Johnson with his power.

Johson is being overrated by bookmakers based on his recent performances IMO...... i mean Tommy Speer has already retired from the sport... Luigi has fought at 185 and against tough punchers, i personally dont think he'll feel threatened by Johnson. This is a big fight for Luigi and i like his chances.

That said, Johnson has been working with Cung Le and we saw in his last fight he has some dangerous kicks now.

lauzon has lots of potential, but stephens is a buzzsaw....the guy fights 3 minutes of every round and can punch...

tough call,that one...

I'm gonna pass on Fioravanti.... BUCS makes a good point, size may make a difference in what will likely be a standup battle. Luigi is smaller than he appears on TV. Also, Luigi can be too passive at times.. wrong thing to do against Johnson.

So far....

Dan Miller for 1.75 Kimbos (-175)

Jeremy Stephens for half a Kimbo (+160)

Record stands at -2.13 since 6/21/08

Free fights! :00hour

i`m off dan miller...this fight scares me...i had to off 2 parlays to get out....

miller is better all arond but rosholt is verry strong and a 3 time ncaa champion wrestler.... division 1..

not saying that miller won`t win...just saying this is too tough to tie my wagon to.......

you and me both weasel....I woke up with the same premonition

miller should win, but rosholt may just take him down and lay on him for 3 rounds
I'm leaving Miller alone

I am sticking with my other plays on the card

I like Bucs parlay a lot:

Lauzon
AJ
Cain

may tail that one

Rosholt's standup was terrible in his last fight.. along with his cardio. That was one of the uglier fights i've seen in a while.

Rosholt is very strong and had an amazing college wrestling career, but I think Miller is more of a threat to actually end the fight on the ground via submission. That said, Jake has been working with Marc Laimon on the ground and over at Xtreme Couture working on his standup for this fight.

I still think Miller wins a decision. :) His one loss was a split decision and 6 of his 10 victories were by submission.
