Fight Card
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Dan Henderson vs. Mauricio Rua
C.B. Dollaway vs. Cezar Ferreira
Norman Parke vs. Leonardo Santos
Fabio Maldonado vs. Gian Villante
Michel Prazeres vs. Mairbek Taisumov
Rony Jason vs. Steven Siler
Diego Brandao vs. Will Chope
Ronny Markes vs. Thiago "Marreta" Santos
Jussier Formiga vs. Scott Jorgensen
Thiago Perpetuo vs. Kenny Robertson
Noad Lahat vs. Godofredo Pepey
Francimar Barroso vs. Hans Stringer

Talk about a "must win" for Henderson, if he loses 4 straight fights that is it for him.

Can Hendo use TRT for this fight? I know Nevada said no more and the UFC said they would use that ruling for all locations but is that set in stone?

trt or not,my gut is that this won`t go 5 this time.......it`s -155 so i might look for a little something to par this with(i hate laying odds)....was looking at brookins on the axs card tonight as a parlay partner then the odds came out at -700+:)lol:which is hardly worth the sweat)........

i expect rickels to outlast pitbull freire`s lesser brother in bellator tonight, but, that`s not a bagshot by any stretch...

lemme look at the weekend`s boxing sched...might be something more predictable there.

btw...jussier formiga`s losses were to ian mccall/john dodson and benavidez...scott jorgensen`s lost 4 of his last 5(granted..to all good fighters)....it`s in brazil and formiga`s +170....anyway,it`s worth thinking about.....

rickels easily wins the 1st round as freire does what he always does(sits on his hands)....then he gets buzzed in the second and instead of getting his wits about him,he tries to slug it out....

fight i.q.= nil......i hope he gets to bed early(i`m sure his bus comes by early in the morning)......

I'm thinking it wont go 5 as well. All 5 of Hendo's last fights have been against killers and at 43 the wheels of his fighting life are going to fall off soon. He will be 44 in August and while Shogun is not the the fighter he was I think if he connects cleanly with a near 44 year old he is going to stop him. U2.5 for me.

By the way anybody else surprised at the Maldonado/ Villante line? Villante is the better wrestler but I expected him to be the underdog. I expect this fight to be up against the cage the whole time

reports are villante had a tremendous camp. His striking partner is costa and his wrestling partner is Weidman. Villante has advantages anywhere this fight goes not to mention a major edge in speed. Look at the last 6 guys Maldy fought. With the excepton of Glover..... BUMS. Maldy is on his way out. A bloated record and a regional fan draw at this point. UFC squeezing last out of him

HELL
Shogun looked leaner and in shape. Think he wins this and Hendo retires.
