The main event is a challenge to bet and for me a no bet is the way to go. Nothing in Henderson's career helps us predict this fight. Never thought at 170 before and clearly against no one this big before. He has faced a couple of 6 footers before in Cerrone and Njorkuani but no one like Thatch. If he can get this to the second round it could be his fight.

Same goes for Thatch. He has faced bigger guys but not better guys. But LW to WW is a big jump.

Well whatever. Have to watch it Sunday morning as wifey won't be happy if I watch UFC on V day.

Hey kick, check out espn.com...your boy GSP says he's 100% and wants to fight again, but he wants them to clean up the roids. :nono:

The reason he left was because of the cheating.

Well crap. I hate betting on fighters who miss weight. I should have seen that before I put in my bets. :( Anyway, here goes:

Patrick Walsh -160 over Dan Kelly
3.2 to win 2 units

Dan Kelly +130 over Patrick Walsh
2.46 units to win 3.2 units

Stupid hedge; my bad for making the bet before weigh-ins.

Thatch over Henderson inside distance +135
0.5 units to win 0.68 units

Brandon Thatch over Benson Henderson
Patrick Walsh over Dan Kelly
Michel Dos Prazeres over Kevin Lee
Zach Makovsky over Tim Elliott +986
0.5 units to win 4.93 units

I would hate to buy out of the Walsh bet, but Kelly looked so awful in TUF Nations. I guess I'll watch the weigh-ins to take a look and modify this post if I decide to buy out.

"the bunker"
a little gunshy after the swede shit the bed...but there were too many advantages at play for me not to take a shot with thatch at -115....when I heard about the fight I was waiting for the line....I first saw -175 and I`m glad I balked....much more palatable at -115......

the size difference and homecort venue made it too hard not to play....even if Henderson can take him down a few times can he keep him there?...and thinking that thatch can`t be potent for at least 2 or three rounds because he stops so many guys in the first isn`t necessarily sound logic.......if Henderson can take this huge mofo down and jeep him there for 5(or sub him),o.k....god bless him...but I doubt jenderson wins a stand-up fight here vs a stand-up beast like thatch with those height and reach (and weight come fight time) advantages....

huge opportunity for thatch vs a guy who(even though he always fights top guys) has shown some slippage of late...I`m sensing a little desperation in taking this fight from Henderson......`

ll bite(take that with a frontloader full of salt after the gustafssen shart-fest)...

kick...are there any fight pass fights now that the lentz fight was pulled?

I`m seeing prelims from 8-10 but that would be 6 fights in 2 hours(they usually plan about 1/2 hr. per fight)....???

you know what the actual schedule is?....

thanks..

James Moontasri misses weight but wins the fight, fuck that shit:nono: He did look great though, he destroyed Cody Pfister.

But does not matter when ya miss weight.
