wesley snipes just called me from a Lockheed L-1011 Tristar...

he said, "Bro, Corey Anderson is a lock and I'll finish all the terrorists in the sky." He also said, "Always bet on black."

"the bunker"
looking forward to almeida/birchak...using the "doesn`t go the distance" and "almeida itd"props in pars but I have to say I tempered them a bit because the odds weren`t nearly as high as I expected.(maybe because of this)....http://www.mmanews.com/ufc-confirms-that-fight-night-77-will-use-the-30-foot-octagon/

we`re gonna find out whether almeida is the killer he`s cracked up to be and whether bitrchak is the uber tough guy he`s cracked up to be... tread a little lighly because I expect birchak to go for some takedowns....I still think it`s worth a small look...also putting a small wager on this fight being an award winner(fotn +550)..checking around the net,it`s almost impossible to find a fight from either guy that wasn`t an absolute war..the few fights that went the distance with both guys were amazing in the fact that they went the distance(birchak/benoit and almeida/Gorman).....a war...

small plays for some action..big stuff coming up the next few weeks...

o.t.....anybody else almost have a stroke watching Daniel strauss nearly piss another sure win away late in his fight again last night?....and again it was almost via rear naked choke...that and the fact that he`s standing there against the fence exchanging bombs(with a broken left hand no less) at the very end of the 5th with (of all people) pitbull?....

all had to do was survive...man,talk about an f`ed up fight i.q....

Great scrap between Pedro Munhoz and Jimmie Rivera, both guys brought it. Super close fight but the decision goes to the +150 underdog Rivera.

Good back and forth battle between Chas Skelly and Kevin Souza, it looked like Skelly was done but the fave Skelly comes back and picks up the sub win. Lots of heart from Skelly to get that win.

Looks like Chas might have won that fight with a broken bone in his foot:eek:

"the bunker"
always wondered why more guys didn`t try and kick Henderson`s sparrow legs more...do your best to avoid the right hand and keep kicking those walking sticks....

vitor, being a lefty, could hammer him with inside leg kicks....and probably be able to get in and out(given he`s the more agile, athletic guy)...

The huge fave Corey Anderson beats Fabio Maldonado easily. It might be time for Fabio Maldonado to call it quits, dude has taken tons of damage in his fights, he should retire.

"the bunker"
in retrospect,"anderson by decision" was probably the lead pipe cinch of the decade....watching that debacle it`s obvious why Anderson jumped at the chance to fight Maldonado on short notice.....he could easily wet blanket Maldonado coming off of a three week bender....

not impressed by Anderson....let`s see him fight a non-wooden indian...

now we finally get to the meat of the card...
