In waiting UFC 66, tomorrow evening there is an UFC event at the Marines Corp Air Station live on Spike:

Taking:

Carter -139 (1 unit) Pinnacle
Joslin +262 (1 unit) Pinnacle

Joslin might pull the upset and i really think he has a shot!

Love Parisyan but cant bet at -400+ This is way too much to lay!

GLTA!

Carter is the one that I like as well. I'm going to have to look at it. May have to be a parlay kind of night. Like you I love Karo. I don't see any way in hell he loses tonight. I think I will bet against Kos because I can't stand him.

I hate..I mean HATE Diego Sanchez....that guy just pisses me off...........how I would love to see him lose to Joe Riggs.

with that being said, if Diego does win it would be great to see him get smoked by Hughes or GSP, so all is not lost if he wins..........but man oh man would I love to see that cocky a**hole lose!

as for a pick......

Jeff Joslin at $3.60 (+260) looks like a good value pick to me :SIB

also.....Joe Riggs at $5.00 (+400) looks really really good to me.....but that's just because of the post above :SIB

Carter -137 1unit
Karo -427 .5unit
Riggs +371 .5unit
Joslin +259 .5unit

If these where for more money I would just be playing Carter. I think Karo gets it done in big time fashion. Riggs is just because he's dangerous enough to have shot and I think that's just a little too high so why not. Joslin has a chance but I've always believed that really good wrestlers can control BJJ guys on the ground. Just need one of my dogs to hit to have a really nice night.

Oh yeah, thanks again GSP and my family will thank you. XMas is on you this year. :mj06:

what`s the fascination with carter?...he`s old...and one dimensional..........

is his opponent that bad?....

i went with the big faves in a parlay...sanchez/parisyan and liddell......laying 5 to get back six.....

riggs concerns me...he`s bigger...but he usually loses when he steps up.....

i may put a small off bet on him at +better than 4-1 to protect myself...

if liddell doesn`t win,i`m retiring to tibet and becoming a llama-tologist.....

i`m heavily invested in that one dimensional, albeit very hot, counter puncher.....

i love liddell`s patience....i think his patience unnerves his opponents....

tito`s dangerous, but,i`m not impressed with his 5 bout win streak.....

one more time chuck....

Wow, Diego knocking Riggs out was very not what I thought would happen.

I went with Carter because he reminds me of a football team that you always think the team that lost to them was better than.(ie Florida, they don't look very impressive but they win).

Is it me or what but I thought the Joslin fight was closer than 30-27. Joslin had a far better standup hitting Kos quite a bit and then when it went to the ground I didn't think Kos was that dominating. I really thought it was a close fight. Oh well.

GW, I'm going to wait in hopes that I get better odds but I may go on Ortiz. I like Liddell more but I don't think you can use the first fight as an example of what will happen here. If Ortiz doesn't get the eye poke then it could have been a lot different. For the money I think Ortiz might be a good bet. Enough people have shown him that there's no need to try and stand with Chuckie. If anyone can get him to the ground it will be Ortiz. And if it goes to the ground at all I will feel very good about my chances. We'll see, I may change my mind and go on Chuck. LOL

layin,we`ll see......he couldn`t take forrest griffin down...and may well have lost that fight...and the shamrock wins do absolutely nothing for me....

should be interesting....

parisyan`s cut had ME pissing blood....thank god it was under the eye....fickett`s a very tough, reslient hombre...he never quits...

btw...i thought joslin looked like a promising fighter....i see why you guys liked him as the dog.......i think with a little more experience at the sprawl,he`s a better all around fighter than koschek......

i would NEVER lay odds with koschek.....i don`t care what rogan says, the guy`s still pretty one dimensional....and looks like he loses confidence if he can`t take his man down.....

liddell and ortiz trained together and word was ortiz couldn't take him down consistently, and when he did chuck could get back up.

I like liddell but won't lay that much juice.

Not a big fan of Tito's but he does have that world class wrestler in his corner for the last year or two. I still think Lidel beats him if he is hungry. I saw Dana White say that he always has trouble signing Lidell to fight because of money but when he talked about the rematch with Tito Lidel signed up no problem. As Weasal says his five match win streak doesn't impress me either. Take Lidels last five opponents and then take Tito's. Tito reminds me of Roy Jones Jr. I like to see Tito fight Babaloo instead of someone like a washed up Shamrock. I love to see Lidell after beating Tito pull him in the grave like Tito does to embarass people. If he would have beat Lidel the first time you can bet your ass he would have done that.
