Din Thomas +147 2units

I think it's a very close fight but I'll take the dog in what I think is a 50/50 fight. Thomas is nobodys bitch and he's been in the cage against a lot better comp than Florian and he's beaten them. Not all of them but enough and he's lost to guys that are some of the elite.

a Terry Martin and Nate Quarry parlay at odds of $2.07 (+107) looks mighty good to me:SIB I will wait before I "pull the trigger" but it does look mighty tasty:SIB

In my opinion Chris Leben is done:SIB

Definitely on Martin, however, I'll probably also bet Sell. Quarry, despite getting the victory the 1st time was (and still is I imagine) very rigid and easy to hit, add on to that that Cecil Peoples stopped it prematurely, so the victory was tainted in my view. Also, it'll be about 2 years since he last fought and during that layoff he required major back surgery. Sell at +231 is fairly attractive.

I took him about a week ago. At +135.
Not sure if you guys care about this but this guy emails me picks on the UFC. He has a radio show and has the fighters on occasionally. I never listened to it. Just never have the time i guess. Here are his picks. He does a nice job but so do a lot of guys in here.
Ultimate Fight Night - Live on Spike TV 09/19/2007 9pm ET

Thiago Alves (-230) vs Kuniyoshi Hironaka (+170)
Thiago is called the Pit Bull for a reason, betting against Alves here is not a smart bet.
Prediction: Alves by submission

Chris Leben (+170) vs Terry Martin (-220)
Are you ready to write Chris Leben off? i think I might be, two lack luster losses in a row and three of his last 4. Dang. But remember he has a head like a cinderblock and he is a straight up striker, if your a fan, or are looking for dog money...dont be dumb.
Prediction: Martin TKO (unless you believe in the punchers chance here, I don't.)

Nate Quarry (-220) vs Pete Sell (+170)
Pete Sell has scorned me and lost me too much money to bet on him, oh ya, and Nate KO'd him the last time they fought. No real money here.
Prediction: Quarry TKO and I wouldn't give you dap if you picked Sell, cuz thats just silly.

Kenny Florian (-160) vs Din Thomas (+130)
Din Thomas is not only my homey, but he's a guy that LOVES being the underdog. I see him taking florian apart.
Prediction: Din unanimous or submission, THIS is the underdog $$ people!

I guess I'm the only one here on Florian. Now that he fighting in the proper weight class, I feel good about his chances. He will be prepared- no doubt. I think he will submit Din

It should be a great fight tonight between Florian and Thomas, the reason I'm on Thomas is because of the line. I truely feel this is a toss up but I'm very worried about the elbows. It's hard to be against Kenflo when you know the fight could be stopped due to a cut, he's very dangerous with his elbows and will most certainly cut Thomas at least once.

I wouldn't say it was a bad bet Fade im with lay on basically betting the odds here on what i think is a toss up fight. If Florian wins i wouldn't be shocked. This is a good solid fight.

It does seem like an inflated #, but there just may be a reason behind it. Obviously anyone can beat anyone is this sport (top 10 contenders) which both are. I have had success betting MMA matches so maybe I'm due to lose? I hope not. GL Boys (unless you're on Din.) :box2:

What a couple of twits these 2 are. Both in the 3rd round and seemingly on their way to victory and then they both get KTFO.

Thankfully, I bet on Alves as well and only lost a few $.

Florian did exactly what I expected. He's got skills. He looked like a ****in Python wrapping around a goat. 6-0 in MMA.

I'm not all that familiar w/Fitch other than his last result. Sanchez is a real jackass, so it will be difficult to not show bias capping this one. I have yet to lose an MMA match going 6-0. Need to do a little research before I pick this one and for some reason my book has taken the Sanchez/Fitch line down? Liddell seems to be an obvious choice, but I won't lay -330 in an MMA match. Same goes w/Rua. I expect him to turn Forrest into a bloody mess- the dude can take a punch and he will take several in a TKO. I still won't lay that kind of a number and Forrest imo would be most likely to pull an upset between the heavy dogs.

Ouch, I can't believe Thomas didn't say something about his knee instead of eating punches like that. That's a bad way to lose. Florian is definately a stud and his elbows from the bottom are brutal, it looks like he hits the top of the head a lot and I didn't think you could do that. Wouldn't mind seeing him and BJ here soon.
