Only odds for the main event out as off now. Johnson is super quick and has impressed me but he is giving up 5 inches in height but only 2 inches in reach

I like Barry a lot here, I was waiting because I thought the line would swing in my favor. But, I guess thats not the case here, even though there seems to be a lot of hate for Barry.

The UFC isn't cutting Struve any breaks after that last brutal KO. I don't know how much that took out of him, but to have to face a dangerous striker again isn't a good look for him.

I don't know what the matter with Struve is, but I think his height and body type just lead to him getting KO'd because if he keeps his hands up, his body is totally exposed and he will just eat side kicks. So, he ends up dropping his hands and ends up getting rocked by an overhand right counter. Happened in both the Nelson and browne fights, I don't think he can stop it (unless he wants to eat side kicks instead).

Barry is a fuck up, but definitely the more skilled striker/kickboxer. He was working Crocop until he broke his hand and foot in the first round, and we all know what happened with Kongo. I can't really tell you what happened with Beltran though

In any case, I can't see Struve coming into this fight with any kind of confidence, whereas Barry has something to prove, and hopefully he has learned some lessons in his past fights and will be more mentally prepared.

I was shocked that the Rumble Johnson was so low (already moved as I'm writing this). I don't know whats going on with his weight cut, but Rumble anywhere near 100% kills this kid.

Brenneman has decent grappling, but he certainly isn't going to surprise anyone after the win over Story. It's just a matter of Rumble stuffing his takedowns and knocking him out. Brennemans isn't big enough, or experienced enough to take Rumble down, and if this one stays standing it will be a quick fight. The line should be atleast -300 imo.

I totally agree about the Johnson fight. But, he's one of the guys I like to see at weigh ins before I anything down. If he has to go back and cut anymore after the 1st weigh ins then I want nothing to do with him.

Good article on the Rumble/ Brenneman fight. It points out how much weight Rumble puts on his lead leg when he strikes which can make him susceptible to being taken down. Also points out the times when Brenneman took Story down it was when Story moved froward. Will be interesting to see if Johnson is aggressive or tries to pick his shots from distance

I'm wondering how much being a late replacement made to Story's performance. My guy feeling was that Brenneman in that fight fought above his normal level because he was up against an opponent who was off guard.

Plays

Michael Johnson - Just stay out of guard

Sass and Cruz parlay

O1.5 Struve and Barry - I see Barry content to be on the outside and Stuve struggling to get this to the ground - at least for the first part of the fight

Brenneman - Think he takes Johnson down

Danzig and Wiman FOTN
