sean sherk is fighting george st pierre?....

they just coerced me into spending my money....sherk is an utter beast....maybe the strongest pfp guy in mma(hughes?....riggs at 170?....maybe).....a monster wrestler....

and st pierre?....a buzzsaw....my hat`s off to st pierre...the guy dodges no one......no more canandian jokes from this corner....lol

what a fight...should be the main event,imo...

i don`t know how joe riggs makes 170......the guy is a legit 200+ pounder....and buff at 200..anybody that`s ever cut weight to box or wrestle knows the discipline involved....it`s tough...for riggs to make 170 is utterly incredible,imo...he was over 300 at one time,i believe....

he`s a very powerful man.....

still,i`m not sure how he`ll fair if this bout goes past 1 or 2 rounds....as i suspect highes would like it to...

hughes is the far superior fighter....but,riggs is the naturally MUCH bigger man...with a mean streak...

still think hughes will get it done...puncher`s chance here for riggs....brutally strong guy at 170...but how dried out will he be at 170?...if that`s the case,it will show vs this caliber opponent....

i think that nate quarry`s out of his league...he`s a decent stand up fighter...but,he hasn`t seen anything like rich franklin...a lefty to boot....

i think that riggs is more dangerous for hughes than quarry is for franklin....

parlay `em to bring down the odds...and add remy bojansky in the upcoming k-1 show to easily beat korean man-mountain hong man choi...he won the korean k-1 show...but,he`s not much,imo....

again... sherk/st pierre.... this match alone makes this card well worth the investment...sherk is a fantastic wrestler...extremely strong....the hughes fight was a war....his only loss...

st pierre...what can i say....he`s perpetual motion...amazing cardio...an attack machine....i think a second fight with hughes could very well go his way...imo,he could be the most proficient offensive fighter in mma....he seems to become more dominant every time out....

but, sherk can beat st pierre if he can keep him on his back....

balls to the wall...sherk hasn`t been active enough of late....st pierre is a buzzsaw....

tough to lay better than 2-1 against sherk....maybe another parlay?....lol

one of the really good ufc cards....

we have the same thoughts, already posted the franklin bout, took bonjansky at -400 too, but forgot to post it, I parlayed all those with mayweather and hatton next weekend for + money, may not be smart to put four fights on a parlay but I just opened my 5dimes and I'm new at that stuff.

if bonjansky loses, it will really kill k-1 as legitimate fighting for a prime champion to lose to one of their freaks, I'll eat my mouse if he does.

riggs couldn`t make weight...i`m not surprised......

i am a little worried though...this isn`t a championship fight..... and riggs looks like he dwarfs hughes.....

hughes` strength often separates him from his opponents....

he` probably won`t be the stronger guy here....

damn,riggs looked big...

I noticed that too, he tried to cut it too fine and missed weight, so it makes it really interesting, I suspect hughes isn't as much a lock as franklin and we'll find out tonight.

btw spoilers::::::

ok....first off...I totally agree with you guys...I think this will be a great card...some good match-ups :)

and.....I am a huge fan of my fellow :canada1 St. Pierre.....if there was a St Pierre fanclub I'd join :mj07: The guy is amazing....and yes he's in tough against Sherk....this will be a war but I don't see hime losing he can taste his title shot...he wins this he'll get it....go George Go :firing: :firing:

my underdog plays:

Nick Thompson at $2.25

Jeff Newton at $3.45 (odds just too good to pass up)

and haven't decided exactly how I am going to parlay these but I like the following favs:

Gonzaga
Franklin
Chalangov
St. Pierre

also straight wager on Jeremy Horn at $1.44

good luck garden and amhlilhaus...should be some damn good fights :dizzy: :nutkick

i`ll join that st pierre fan club.....figuratively.....

seriously...the guy is amazing...and if there are fan clubs,he should have one....

what do you want in a fighter?....an aggressive, well rounded game...

he has it...

...and a guy that takes difficult fights....

he does...sherk is no joke...hughes and trigg...all within a year and a half?....

st pierre is your guy...

and he comports himself admirably in and out of the ring...

he is one bad canadian mou fou....

how can you not like the guy?...

franklin knocked quarry's di$k stiff. quarry would have been better served to have the fight stopped the first time he was knocked down, rather than be given naptime.

can`t beat a sweep...of course, didn`t take a brain surgeon to play the faves tonight...

.but,i did have the dogs schilt and aerts in k-1........

st pierre is scary good...he dominated an excellent, albeit rusty sean sherk....

i thought sherk came fairly close with some of his compact punches early on...his stand up is much better than i suspected....

but,st pierre took him down at will....that`s pretty amazing....he dominated on the ground.......i wasn`t surprised at st pierre`s win...but,i was shocked at the domination....

he beat the shit out of sherk...period...

as i suspected, quarry was out of his league..he was brutalized...and a bit overhyped.....i wonder how that kind of knockout will affect him down the line?....that right leg was stiffer than ryan leaf`s pro career...

matt hughes is turning into royce gracie...lol

what a division....

jeremy horn?....maybe he`s a legend...i didn`t see his earlier career....but,he`s sloppy looking....he was gassed in the second round....cardio was horrible...

he may have been great at one time.......now,he`s not much more than a good trial horse..

he lost, flat out...i don`t care how you score this stuff...

congrats,guys....love mma...
