I'm done taking big favs in these MMA fights. It's just to easy to lose with these guys having such devistating hits and subs.

So if I lose this weekend it won't include any juice.

Sylvia +300 1 unit Arlovski is a beast but it's a little to big a line for me to take him.

Griffin +250 .5 unit Forrest looks like he's put on some weight, not sure it's enough weight but again he has a hitters chance.

Diaz +125 1.5 units I like Nick, he may be a one hit wonder but as a small dog here I'll bite.

Levens +250 .5 unit It's a sad day for Tanner to me when he's the opening fight of a UFC event. This may be his last on the big stage. To me he doesn't look like there's much in the tank.

"the bunker"
i really like the plays.....i believe that every dog you listed has a real shot...

i wish levens had a little more experience....tanner`s beginning to look like a boxer that`s hit the wall and can`t get off.....he may be done...

i would honestly be surprised if griffin can handle tito`s ground game....i have tito in a parlay to hedge the play a little....

diaz has to win...if he loses again, his career,ufc-wise,is in jeopardy....

i think he CAN win here....of course, all these are dogs for a reason....

but,i agree...they are live dogs....

gl, see some value in this UFC.

Big Play
Tito -273 - Tito too experienced.
Randy has better wrestling than Tito.
Chuck has better standup than Tito.
Forrest isn't particularly good or better in any department than Tito. I would rate Tito better in standup, wrestling and subs. Well.. everything actually.

I don't think the UFC would screw Tito over because the big $ fight against Shamrock is yet to come.

Dogs
Martin +181 - Martin was winning until the unfortunate knee KO against Irvin.

Monson vs Cruz
I'd pick Monson but don't like the odds -200's so not playing this one.

like Terry Martin as a dog. great value imo.

i read somewhere that AA has a bum knee?? has anyone else heard anything?

I'm a big Nick Diaz fan.. but he doesn't have much takedown defense. I know he is a BJJ black belt but Sherks short stalky frame will make it difficult for subs especially once they both are tired and sweaty. Sherks only losses are to Hughes and GSP (I think).

Parlay #1
-------------
Ortiz
Sherk
Monson
Parisyan

pays nice...hope it hits :SIB

Parlay #2
-------------
Parisyan
Monson
Ortiz

And agree with points above....Diaz has to win, but that guy has cost me a lot of money...all talk and doesn't back it up...I think he's done tonight :SIB

anyway...best of luck madjackers :com:

here we go! live results Monson/PDP starts it off
slow boring fight.
Cruz looked alright standup surprisingly with some decent legkicks and long reach. Really sloppy when he tired later on. Pretty even standup wise, no one having an advantage. Monson way more active on the ground, at least trying to punch, all ground battles ended up with Monson on top, no takedowns against Monson iirc.

Monson by SD, thought it should've been UD.

the winner by split decision... the HUNTINGTON BEACH BAD BOY! TITO ORTIZ! woohoo! Even fight, felt Tito just squeezed through. Tito with partially torn ACL and bulging disc apparently. 1st rd Tito dominated with gnp. 2nd rd Griffin more aggressive standup, Tito really tiring and telegraphing his td's. 3rd rd about the same, Tito with a late takedown to steal it. Tito ran out of gas after the 1st rd, pretty surprising.

Crowd was really behind Forrest and booing Tito. Griffin definately looks the worse in terms of damage on his face. Tito never really got rocked, but Griffin won the standup due to activity. Could score it either way, but overall Tito did more damage particuarly the 1st rd. Good fight in that it was so close. Classy speech by Tito, no longer an a-hole.

Sherk by UD
Sherk at 5'6" looks like a midget fighting against Diaz 6'0, but he's ripped. Sherk more active combo's and td attempts. Diaz not using his reach adv but doing well with td defense, he's worrying too much about td's imo and doing little else. On the ground it's bout even. Sherk UD good call imo.

LOL! unbelievable, what a comeback. Like the first fight Sylvia was rocked and fell back. Stood back up wobbly, Arlovski went in for the kill and got caught by a right hook/uppercut. Sylvia finished him off with unansewered blows on the ground. What a shocker!

Sylvia by TKO.

Well, I learned a lot last night.

Diaz is a one hit wonder. If I would have never seen him knock Lawler out(i think that was his name) then I would have never thought he was any good. One hit and he's had me for a few fights, NO MORE.

Now here's the big one I learned. People like Ortiz, Tanner and others that have been at or near the top are on a different level from other guys.

I almost bet on Ortiz to somewhat offset my bet on Forrest. I thought about it allday and was kicking myself for taking Forrrest.

Even when a guy is washed up you have to look at his losses that made him look washed up. If there against top tier fighters then he's probably still better than 99% of fighters out there just not the top anymore.

My book doesn't take parlays on these fights so it's hard for me to take favs. Guess I'll have to switch to somewhere where I can parlay them.

Very nice picks kickserv.

Diaz just had the wrong conversative game plan worrying too much bout td's. He's got the skills to be a good fighter and is imo. Once the fight hit the ground, Diaz was in no trouble and managed a nice sweep or two. Don't know why he didn't start to swing more freely even to the end of the fight when he was losing.

A healthy Tito would've been a mucher safer pick, had no idea he was coming in with injuries. Maybe a less ripped than normal Tito at the weighin's was a sign of some trouble.

I must say that it's a pathetic day when I can go 1-3 and still win a little( and i do mean a little)

I can't wait for the next event, not because of the fights but because after that we'll know the date when GSP and Hughes will fight.

IFFFFFFFF Hughes can stop Gracie for choking him out. If Hughes has one weekness it's giving up his back. If Trigg can get to his back then Gracie atleast has a shot.
