College Hoops Record 15-9-2 for the year +8.3 units

Purdue -7.5 2 units
Butler -14.5 2 units
Akron +8 1 unit
Tennessee -2.5 1 unit
So. Florida pick 1 unit
Fordham +4 1 unit
Arizona St. +2.5 4 units

why??

Purdue has lost 3 straight and 5 of 6; they go up against a Northwestern Team which has just beaten Michigan and Iowa. Spread seems too high....I'll bite and take the Boilers.

This Butler Game has the same makings of the Kent-Buffalo Game. Conference favorite against the surprise team who seems to cover the number game in game out. Oddsmakers set the high number to entice the dog players. I'll lay the big number here.

You would think a 14-2 team like Bowling Green would be laying a little more wood than 8 to a 3-13 team like Akron. Akron has lost 11 of 12. I'm hoping Bowling Green will do just enough to get the win tonight but not cover the number.

1'st game out for Ron Slay tonight and his injury has been blasted throughout the media. The line has moved today toward the Gamecocks and I like Tennessee to cover the short number.

I like South Florida to get the job done away from home tonight. They've played poorly since mid December and it's time for this team to begin to realize their potential.

Why has the line been dropping Fordham's way today? The line has mover from 6 to 4 and Fordham is a 5-9 team going up against a good 12-5 St. Bonnie's Ballclub. Once again I'll bite on this move as it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Arizona St. failed twice over the weekend; both time they were steamed and failed to deliver. Last weekend Arizona beat the same USC and UCLA ballclubs that Arizona St. fell to. Arizona St. needs this game as they will next travel to Stanford and Cal. Arizona St. gets the win here over their rival.
