2002 - Muirfield ... men-only
2003 - Royal St. George's ... men-only
2004 - Troon ... men-only

And golf's ruling body, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews is a men-only club with women unable to enter the R&A clubhouse other than during Open week.

If want to talk about the heavy weights of tradition, you certainly need to look no further than the UK !!!
