ultimate finale...dana white made it happen

just watched the last ultimate fighter semi-final and i thought the whole thing was extremely fishy.....

i had the feeling that dana wanted cj dolloway in that final......and if it had been dolloway that had won...and acted like taylor,dana would have sat on his hands and nobody would have heard a thing about the "horrible" incident(he got drunk,rowdy and acted like an ass....much like many guys on these shows do every week).....

he busted out a limo window....and got mouthy....so make him pay restitution and go down there and apologize to the bouncers....

i guess none of the other guys were involved?...nobody else mouthed off or gave anybody trouble?.........

yeah,right....

the kid fought his way into the final,and white found the excuse he was looking for to get dolloway another opportunity....

all that said...dolloway,if he can learn to go 3 rounds hard,is far and away the best fighter on that show...

and dana knew that...probably before the show even started...

not to crazy about white...something really sleazy about the guy...

he`s got a napoleonic complex...

i don't know Weasel you may have a few points but does Dana suffer from such a lack of discipline that he has to curse every five minutes?

I don't GW, I thought he deserved to be kicked off. We don't know how bad it was in the casino but that kid was out of control everytime he got drunk.

For what it's worth, I don't think CB will win the fight. I thought he was the best up until his last two fights. If his GNP was better I would give him a shot but it's not. I think that sub scared him and now he'll be too cautious on the ground.

i agree that taylor`s a moron....i mean,he`s "dude which knob is the hot water" dumb....his i.q. is about the same as his hat size...

what makes me take the conspiracy angle,layin`,is the way that dana...several times during this particular show,has disparaged wrestlers that tend to take down their foes and basically do the old, boring g+p......

he can`t stand it...

in dolloway,who was a wrestler,he has a guy that actually has good stand-up and makes action fights...

i really liked the guy amir...he has,imo,the most heart of any on the show....and he has a great attitude...very likable guy...reminds me of an old friend of mine...

but,imo,he`s gonna take a beating in the rematch...maybe that`s why i`m a little disappointed that dolloway gets an extra chance....

and even though he`s i.q. challenged,i feel very badly when a guy puts in the work,and arbitrarily has that work erased on the whim of an a-hole like white....

sanction the guy...give him a serious warning...but,lord,he didn`t brutalize anybody....

he acted like an asshole...

i think it`was a harsh punishment...and i also think it suited white...

I have watched every season of T.U.F. and I agree with the punishment by White. But I don't agree that he should be "out of the UFC" forever. I think he'll be back in the UFC soon. Off the top of my head there have been 3 guys "kicked off" the show and Dana has said that they are "out of the UFC forever". Within a year they are fighting in the UFC. Although with the UFC cutting contracts like crazy it is possible that you won't see Taylor again. I mean just look at the past 4 seasons of T.U.F., only 6 guys have fought in the UFC more then 3 times, 95% of the guys on the show never fight in UFC more then twice....food for thought:SIB

Weasel i was saying i don't agree with your assessment but you do raise a few points. Then i said Dana needs to clean his mouth up. He can't get one sentence out of his mouth without a beep. Grow up already will ya Dana. You are running what could be a billion dollar company and you talk like a trash man. For goodness sakes for televison at least, tone it down.

On Jesse i think he deserved what he got. Like lay said the guy gets drunk and just goes off. Did you guys see him destroying the house? He was like a crazed animal. This kid should never drink a drop of alcohol the rest of his life. He is just a bad drunk. Dana was right on with this kid and how he isn't mentally ready. "im a UFC fighter" Who needs crap like that? This kid is a drunken train wreck. Maybe he will grow up from this. Punching out a window of the guys limo. What a disgrace.

Is it just me or do you guys think the talent this year was borederline awful? I actually thought the black kid who lost to Emir might have been the best guy of the bunch but got caught.

Talent was ok, but there were some guys that were not very good, but hey they could all beat Kimbo :mj07:

Remember when Jesse pissed his pants in the house right on the rug and somehow thought this was funny? Not sure how true this is but a guy on another site said his friend went to high school with Jesse and Jesse was always in trouble and a terrible drinker.

Well, it is one thing to act like a jackass in the privacy of "your home" or "the house," and to act like a jackass in public. Big NO-NO if you ask me.

I think the decision was a GREAT decision. You can't have your TUF champ running around unable to handle his alcohol and giving not only the UFC, but the sport a very bad image.
