Well, another Tar Heel game and another write-up. Here it goes:

I was a little suprised by the early line I saw and will probably take advantage of it before it goes up, which I have a feeling it will. I expected it would be around double digits, maybe 10 or so or a couple more, but so far I've seen UNC -6 on the road at ODU. The heels were lucky to win against Rutgers last time out, pulling out a game they really didn't deserve to win. They buckled down on defense when it mattered in the end, but the 20 turnovers didn't help much.

I don't know very much about ODU. I know they lost to the EA allstars 83-78, who the tar heels beat 109-97. The last time the teams met was in 1998 where UNC won by 2 points.

Looking at this game, I feel like the line is down because of the way carolina played against rutgers. I think the guys were a little too pumped about beating a sub-par Penn St team and the Rutgers game may have brought them back down to earth. Having had some time to reflect on the way they played, I think they will come out very strong versus ODU. I just think they have way too many weapons to score right now and they are playing good defense. Sean May has looked great on offense as well as McCants, and felton has been dishing the ball off very well. One hesitation is that UNC and coach D might be looking ahead to their matchup with Roy Williams and Kansas. Even still, I think the line should be a little higher, and think it will rise with public money tomorrow. So my pick:

Heels -6 -107

If anyone could provide some feedback on ODU I would appreciate it. Any thoughts welcome!

Good luck everyone :SIB

old domo- last season 13-16 rpi#182 3 returning starters. lost starting & reserve centers to transfers. look to be very thin on bench. 3 freshmen may help them out . 6-9 p.f loughton from australia, 6-11 center mrksic from canada & point gaurd hunter. i was sitting on the fence but am now playing nc. win over rutgers was good rutgers could be a sleeper in big east. dohrety is a good coach that had a bad year and i dont think they will be looking ahead to a rough stretch of kansas, ill &kentucky. i played at -4.5 but saw some 4 out there where no account

1-0 today, nice heels win:D

Keep an eye on the line Wed night for the UNC-Kansas game in the NIT semifinals. I have a feeling that UNC will get a little too much credit and the line will be too much in their favor. I think it's very likely Kansas will blow them out. I'll post when the line comes out.

Good luck this week :SIB
