Updated 2007 MJ record (total all plays): 49-28 (+27.50 gaming units)

regular plays: 39-25 (11.80 gaming units)

double plays: 10-1 (+17.70 gaming units)

2 team parleys: 0-2 (-2.0 gaming units)
---------------------------------------

Lost .45 units yesterday. Took a shot on a couple teams that just didn't pan out (Yanks, Sea, Tor). I have half a mind to bet them all again today, and I may:mj03:

If my bad gaming days are losing .45 units after winning quite a bit of money I'll certainly take that.

Maybe I should have slept off this hangover a little more. Then I would have realized Sunday is spelled with 1 "S" and its 4.22.07. My bad. Can't edit Thread title I don't think.

you had a better day than me. I don't know what happened with that Detroit game yesterday, I really thought Contraras would get crushed and he did in the 1st. VERY surprised to see that he settled down after that.

Houston -127 (Double Play)

Houston -127 (Double Play)

Surprised this line isn't higher, there is a huge pitching advantage in Houston's favor imo.

Oswalt (3-0, 2.89 ERA) vs. Dave Bush (1-1, 5.82)

Houston has been giving him the run support this year as well. Really hitting this one hard today.

:box2: :box2: :box2:

"Unlike last season when the Astros struggled to produce runs consistently behind Oswalt, they have scored 20 runs in his last three starts."

Minnesota -143

Minnesota -143

I don't like laying huge juice on games like I am today, but juice only matters if you lose.:grins:

De La Rosa has been hit hard in three career starts against the Twins, going 0-3 with a 7.36 ERA while walking 13 and striking out eight.

Ortiz, though, has been very effective in his first three starts with Minnesota. Besides being among the major league leaders in wins, Ortiz's 2.05 ERA is nearly a run better than Santana's. The right-hander limited Seattle to two runs and eight hits over seven innings Tuesday in an 11-2 victory.

Mauer is on fire.

Joe Mauer, inserted into the lineup as a designated hitter, had two hits Saturday, and is 10-for-20 with eight RBIs in his last six games. He is batting .351 (46-for-131) in 37 career games against the Royals.

Weaver sucks.

I may bet against him every time he pitches for the rest of his career (which may not last to the all-star break)

Angels over 9.5 (even) (double play)

Angels over 9.5 (even) (double play)

double your pleasure, double your funds.

why is this line so low:shrug:

I'll bite, and bite hard, just make sure she doesn't. :142smilie

Weaver (0-2, 15.75 ERA) will make his first start against the Angels since they traded him to St. Louis on July 5, after he went 3-10 with a 6.29 ERA in 16 starts in less than one season with Los Angeles.

vs

Ervin Santana (1-2, 7.63 ERA)

Are you looking at tonight's game with the
Yanks and Sox? I'm thinking the Yankees dont
get swept even against the Dice man... But I
sure dont trust Wright that much...What are
you thinking?

Good luck and kick ass

yeah I can't bet against the yanks, but I can't see how they win this one against a guy who was pitching double a last week facing dice k at home who has pitched great everytime out so far, although I hope they do.

Under to me seems to be the play. The way I look at it is this:

Dice K and Bosox don't give up more than 4 runs MAX. Wrights and yanks give up 6 runs MAX.

Still under total. I just see Dice K setting the tone for a low scoring affair.

Probably will play under, but treading lightly because I finally had the day I knew would come eventually. its impossible to never have days like this when you bet a full slate everyday, but it doesn't mean you ever have to accept it. key is to bounce back.

Still pisses me off though. Thank god Detroit held on or it could have been even uglier.

Bottom line, today I was :mj122:
