amount of hours I've worked this last 5 weeks. Thought this may be the place to find out if I'm the only insane one. What's the most hours you've ever worked in a month's span? Average being 40 a week and 160 a month......I'll post my total after I see some responses.....gotsa feeling I may be a winna here

Gatorbait,
Gatorbait,

Keep on working, I am sure that everyone recognizes your efforts if you yourself don't by the aamount of your bankroll. I'll tell you what I worked 60+ hours a week last year and went to grad school at night and got a 4.0 GPA. I really feel like I accomplished something, so do the employers that I work for now, but no on else could give a shit (everyone just tries to tell you what to do or how much better they are than you - ignore them....) Anyway, hard work is good for you and it pays of in the long run........

Sorry if I am rambling but I think I have had too much to drink tonight buddy.....

GATORMAN, 2 week's ago i worked a total of 92 big ones...

worked 104 total in 1 week back in 1992

and the clincher----i'll bet anyone that noone can beat this:

back in 1981 i woked 40 straight hours.

reason: our warehouse rack's went down like dominoes and my boss at the time was asking for o.t. for anyone. well i told him i had to bowl that tuesday nite but would come back in to help and finish.--he said i'm only asking for a few hours.

well i worked that nite tuesday 1100 pm and worked till thursday afternoon. thought i was gonna die !

money helped out went to florida (ft.lauderdale)--spring break whatta week.

trust me money is no where near what today is.

that's the way i've been all my life a work aholic--never afraid to work right now i average approx 70-75 per week. but my job calls for it and my company knows how dedicated i am and do pay me well

when i coached it was easy to work 75-80 hours aweek durning the season, that is one very big reason i got out, major burn out.
watch yourself it happened twice to me in coaching since i got out of college and the 2nd time which is now i have been out 5.5 years and have had over 10 offers to coach and scout, but can't take the lifestyle anymore, being gone all the time worrying about job if your not winning, this in allot of ways is way less pressure and better money, just have to do own retirement, but i have a few different roth accounts set up and a few carry over from the coaching and playing days.beware it will hit you hard all at once.good luck.

i'm a surveyor by trade.
that's where "prospector" comes from. all my friends call be that. or beaver - 'cause i'm always busy doing something and when i was young it seemed my front teeth wouldn't stop and wait for the rest of my head to grow ...

anyway ...

worked up near Alaska (actually on the Canadian side of the border on the panhandle - but would drink in Hyder - yep, i've been "hyderized") collecting data during sunrise hours in the bush and would compile and draw plans at night. 15 - 16 hour days for 6 weeks straight.

but, there's not much else to do except play poker with rock-truck drivers until one of them would pass out and piss themselves.

... but that's another story.

try 6 months without a day off. i may break the record once again on this present run.

that is the price of owning your own business and loving it. i have no regrets and find time for family, gambling and mj.

I usually work anywhere from 40-50 hours a week, depending on the season. So I would say anywhere from 160-200 hours a month.

I assume you are talking about working at sports wagering.

I never really pay attention to the clock. I get up in the morning and start and I work until I go to bed at night at no particular time. I work in a few breaks when there isn't a lot of smoke in the air. I can't think of anything else I would rather be doing.

Since I don't really do anything else it is easy for me. For the guys trying to work it in around a 40 hour J.O.B. (I can hardly spell tht word) I must say I don't think I could do it. Perhaps my mind has just been degenerated over the years, but I couldn't even focus on doing anything else. This is my life and I love it . . . and don't even think about the hours.

Finished high school, got on a plane and flew to Calgary and went to work for a geophysical company. Worked an average of 15 hours a day, 7 days a week for 4 months in the Northwest Territories. Lived in camp and did nothing but work and sleep. Made alot of coin and spent it when I got out like no tomorrow. Did that for three years before going back to university. My job now has me working 12-15 hours a day, but I have the weekends off.
