Is it to soon? Families seemed mixed about it. Not sure myself. These type of movies were no one is left to say for sure what happen. Always leave you guessing. Maybe that's best in this case?

Saw the Doc on History. Was interesting, Big Screen should be something to think about. It's a lot different than watching other real live movies, Saving Private Ryan & Pearll Habor, events we didn't live life as we all did this one.

It's different but I have to see everything, just don't want to miss a fact, something that may help me deal with the occurrance.

Saw it tonight. Was a very good movie without any extra bullshit hollywood drama. Worth checking out.

Am I the only one who gets sick when anything comes up on tv about 9/11? I turn it off right away. Maybe it's a little bit more personal when you are from the NE and feel like it's your backyard.

I was working across the street from the White House on 9/11 with my brother working in the Capitol and wife at the CIA, walked home out of the city for 4 hours out of fear of subway attacks, watched from the bridge as smoke poured out of the Pentagon and had jets circling the city the whole time. Dont really need to be reminded of the sheer terror that day brought out in me. Could never see it in a theater, I almost broke down listening to the *radio* trailer.

That being said, as one reviewer put it, it is a very well made movie that may be the best movie you ever hated.

No, its not too soon.

As a matter of fact, it may have taken too long.

It seems that too many people in the country have already forgotten 9-11. If they would have waited any longer then questions of "interfering with the vote" would have creeped up. This isn't a Mike Moore politically jaded movie, but a recreation of a national tragedy.

Saw it Friday afternoon. It's more realistic than the one on t.v. i saw earlier.
Didn't bring tears, as I new it happened and could deal with it I guess. Still pisses me off - cocksuckers.
Wish they would have spent more time showing them kicking the shit out of the highjackers before they went down.

As I walked out of the movie there on the wall:

COMING SOON... TWIN TOWERS!!

it's very simple...

If they could make a gazzillion dollars on a movie about a tsunami

I think they would do it

has absolutely nothing to do with anything else

I won't watch it either. Same reasons I have never watched "The Passion of the Christ". I know what happened in both instances. Both are very sad and heartwrenching, and I don't want to see a movie that portrays that and that will make me sad.

Saw the movie this evening...

Absolutely stunning... I will freely admit to crying as the credits rolled...

Recomended to everyone... Didnt find it offensive at all, the filmakers stuck only to what happened, didnt dramatacize anything, nor add any big special effects...

I thought the movie was somewhat stunning too, but crying. You must be a very emotional being bro. I only cry when I lose large wagers lol.

When it comes to stuff like that, of course.

I also had a personal element... When the planes were crashing on 9/11, I thought my parents were on one of them (they were celebrating an anniversary and had flown to NY to see family and then were flying out the day of 9/11). Thankfully they werent, but I still remember that feeling in school when they told me to go down to the principles office, he had something he wanted to tell me (that they were on a differant flight).
