last two times I got booze on United I tried to pay with CC. I was the only one trying to do that and stewardesses reported it was too much bother getting out portable CC swipe machine just for my purchase - so they comped me on both flights!

Delta, which I now have to fly out of here (almost no United flights) only take cash for booze purchases.
