when you say a 3 or 2 unit play how much are you talking

biogjoe,depends on how much your average bet is

example my normal is 100

so when i bet 5 units i'm betting 500 on the play

3 units would be 300

but it depends 25 on a 3 unit would be 75

50 on a 3 unit would be 150

it depends on your bankroll and how much is your normal play

A unit is what you normally bet. A 100$ better or a 20$ better; for each that is one unit. So if someone bets "three units", they are betting 3X what they normally bet.Hope that helps. bohawk

i kinda get it a unit then is set by each individual bank roll so when i read this and somebody says 5 units it could be 500 or even 50 if there unit was 100 or 10 dollars i just use $ value thanks for the info new to madjacks but not to gambling i cant say i have a set unit value but i realize discipline is the name of the game
