Everything is a prelude to The Masters for as long as I've held a club in my hands. I have no hesitation in making plays on Phil Mickelson(10/1) e.w. at Augusta and (20/1) e.w. in the U.S. Open my opening salvos for the season.
It's just 5dimes and thegreek at which I have an account in my name. I had an account a WSEX a couple of years ago and I don't think I ever figured the site out because I never got a chance to make wagers that were different from the other sites . . . If not for an offer of assistance from someone across the pond, on whom I try to rarely impose, I'd be helpless to make either of these plays . . . I sure hope things get better rather than worse, and soon.

Think Hollywood and wagereb still allow--have accounts. Use to use them a lot--especially WW on props--however golf linesmaker left---was great guy to converse with--since he left they have 40 cent lines and would avoid--still use HH but almost exclusively for their tourney scoring prop. none this week however--was looking forward to it also- bout a two shot/rd diff between trade and kona winds.

I always look at at new outs added here but not many U.S. freindly offer much in way of golf. Wish Oly's sister book Betjamaca cloned olys lines. I'd like to give them as much business as possible as they supports Jacks probably moreso than any book.

Still have assortment of others including Pinn via premptive measures taken before ban.
Thought I had it made till a few started blocking ISP's :(
Have a couple foreign ones via LIA's route also via the proxy route--but like Lia I hate to bother with weekly plays and impose on commraderie.

Thanks guys.

I used to pay for a Canada dial up service just to use when placing wagers at a few Euro books to outsmart them when they started banning US customers. :SIB

Not sure I want to mess with that anymore.

Did it work on blocking ISP? --how much was it?
paying for earthlink dial up now as back to DSL @ office--would be easy to change.

Stick to fading wie and you'll be fine dogs :mj07:

ABC I'll take you back to the last year (2005) of posting full selections of plays here and prior to Wie-- It will give you something to shoot at my friend.:)

Matches +130.72 units
404-254-23 (61%)
about 1/2 of selections-pick em or dogs

Never said you were bad. I always like a challenge. I don't have an exact number because i bet other sports but I think I made around 76 units in golf. Of course I don't flat bet. Just saying that Wie was a freebie nearly all year at 5 dimes last year.

I never got flagged from any book when using it. You just have to be sure to use it when you are actually logged into the sportsbook. As far as they can tell you are in Canada because they can only see that you are connecting from a Canada ISP. They don't know you are actually dialing a long distance number to achieve that.

I don't recall what company I used but it was like $10 and that was a couple years ago. I just did a google search on Canada dial up ISPs. Of course you have to dial long distance to Canada while you are connected. So you have to add that into the equation.

One more thing to note. It is a pain as you have to disable your Cable and then dial up. Its time consuming but was handy if you saw a juicy number you couldnt get anywhere else.

Would be no prob-using it with dsl at office--can go either way easily--the long distance would be only issue--Prob not worth the hassle as can get in 90%of wagers pre tourney without being overly intrusive on proxy--certainly appreciate info though-thank you

Two more thoughts:

I recently remembered I funded an account at SIA (sportsinteraction) (out of a Canadian Indian reservation?) with $100 at the start of 2007, after having lost so many golf outs. The only appeal was that they appeared to offer e.w. opportunities on outrights during the course of most PGA Tour events, and also some Euro events, if I recall correctly. Their prices and offerings were definitely substandard, but at least it was available. However, someone from Canada posted in some thread shortly thereafter that they were painfully unreliable when it came to payouts. After I lost the $100, I never considered further funding . . . Anyway, I see that for the Sony 3rd round they have e.w. lines for Top 3 @ 1/4, so it might be worth keeping an eye on.

I also remembered this week I have something ($35 it turns out) in an account at bestlinesports, and when I logged on it turns out they are now part of BetOnline (a Madjacks preferred book) . . . Anyway, they have some 3rd round Matchups today that are not offered at thegreek or 5dimes, so that might also be worth keeping an eye on.

Thanks LIA--have had account with SIA for years--don't make many wagers there but have always been paid but slow--

thanks for heads up on BOL--I always look at new books here to see if they are golfer friendly and missed this one-will check them out.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

In looking at choices appears they have lower juice or bonus--wonder if lower juice would apply to golf--and if so how much lower-anyone know before I page IE. :)

SIA has been slow paying ever since i've known them. They were an advertiser years ago but I had forgotten all about them. Just don't bet too high with them.
