Know this is after the fact and I am a novice at soccer kmowledge. Was talking to my in laws yesterday and they are huge US team followers. It was their belief that US was far better off not using Heyduk, Agoos (Duh), Stewart, and Cobi Jones. They felt that any backup they put in for those guys would be better off. They also felt that the US is better w/o Mathis most of the time because all he can do is shoot, you might as well play 10 on 11. Seeing that none of those fellas played last night, maybe the US is better off defensively going w the same lineup as last night. They also said that if they saw Regis in there the TV was getting shut off. Maybe Arena will utilize his younger better players more now. Like I said I'm a soccer novice, but enjoy a lot of the wisdom in this forum. Thanks to Anders, Monarch, TTM$, and Javier. All have been generous with their knowledge and successful in the tourney. Javier has had a good tourney so far. Keep pickin em.
