I have written about the sad state of US Soccer for a long time and was even a little hopeful that things would change, but they are about to announce that absolutely nothing has changed. Different management team but same old shit.

There is no way on earth that you can prove to me that Greg Berhalter is qualified to coach this team. It is a complete disgrace of a hire to me. What has changed? They hire a manager that could not cut it in Sweden and is average in the MLS. Yes, the MLS that is not even a top 20 league in the world. He has players that play in the Bundesliga, Premier League, League 1 and La Liga and they hire a coach that has never coached players of this caliber. Please explain to me how this is a smart hire? You really think the top young US players have any respect for this guy, let alone think he has the ability to make them better. I guarantee you that are laughing about this.

Sorry, Ernie Stewart and everyone involved with US Soccer are completely delusional if they think Greg Berhalter is the best man to lead this team. It just baffles me how all of these people have no vision at all and how obsessed that are with the mediocrity of the MLS. It is US arrogance at its best.

Once again, the US is the joke of international soccer.
