Can anyone talk me out of putting my mortgage on Honduras this weekend? Other than money management and patriotism, I can't see any reason not to.

They are somehow +200/Pk+110 at home vs the US.

Their home record in the Hex is: 4-0-0 (12-2) inc blasting Costa Rica 4-0 and beating up Mexico 3-1 (3-0 until the 82nd minute). They haven't lost at home in a WC Qual since 2001 - 13 games ago. They have won the last 8 - all games in this cycle of qualifying.

The US on the road in is: 1-1-2 (5-7) - Beaten soundly by Costa Rica and Mexico . 1 win vs lowly T&T and an comback to draw 2nd to last El Salvador.

Honduras will have a huge home advantage and has the more talented team. The country is pumped for the game, they bring in a roster of players who are playing at the highest levels in Europe. Meanwhile, the US's best players are struggling for time in mid to lower level European clubs or toiling away in the MLS. The US is missing Dempsey for the match, has 6 players on yellows, play horrible in central america and want to avoid having anyone suspended for the final match at home vs Costa Rica. How exactly are the Hondurans such big underdogs at home? I must be missing something critical.

Line keeps dropping like a rock on Honduras. Now at +150 ML/-130 Pk. I bet that ML gets down close to +130 by game time. Too bad this wont be on TV thanks to some major f ups. Should be a great game to watch.

Honduras team gassed like crazy and the USA has taken serious advantage of it.
USA is routing them 3-1 now.

Hope you are not paying double on that mortgage this month.

Didnt get to watch it but sounded likely a crazy game. Great for the US, not so much for my wallet.
