10 matchups. All wins. 9-1 ATS. Obviously well documented. But something to keep in mind when considering your halftime wager....

In those 10 games:

1st half: averaged just a TD lead at halftime of those games

2nd half: won the 2nd half by an average of 15.7 points

If just the B10 games, 4-0 SU and ATS, in those games:

1st Half: average halftime lead of 8 points

2nd Half: won the second half by an average of 13 points

GL all

Just a note (with no numbers to back it up) - it appears USC has been less volatile in halfs since Chow left. Watching UCLA suck for a half and then look like world beaters in the 2nd reminded me of the Old USC.

That's an interesting take and good call on the UCLA opener.

My feeling has always been that Carroll adjusts well defensively at halftime (Chow obviously did as well) but as the game wears on the sheer volume of talent that USC can throw at a team wears the opposition out.

The underdog mentality emotion can propel a team for a while, but eventually talent wins out.

If you think Florida and LSU put them in there
place, wait till this weekend.
