 Carroll still has his starters in with 49-10 lead.... he'll get a player injured if he keeps this up.

i disagree, you have to play starters some extended time so when they do have to play 4qs they arent winded ... seen this bite many a team in hoops and fball in my life---playing one half games b/c you are a power ... too bad no one has the talent to match these guys tho ... will be shocked if they get beat this year, considering they have home field in NC Game

Point Guard is right. At some point, you have to see to it these guys get time on the field. Even if you're up big, you don't want to end up in a close game down the road, and have your starters accustomed to playing 30 minutes and then playing towel boy.

Don't you understand? These bloated, insatiable Trojan alumni will settle for nothing less than a 100 point game!

Look at them. Pouring on the coals in the 4th Qtr...

Carrols still pissed about being left out 2 years ago
and he feels the need to run it up whenver he can. Even with 3rd stringers in. I see his point, but this years he's not in that position as an undefeated season guarantees him a spot in the rose bowl.

I feel bad for arkansas.

nice over, bdb.

I have mixed feelings on teams "running it up". I can understand keeping your starters in to get them work, but I think passing the ball is a little much.

You're right.

What's worse is these game callers. I've always disliked Barry Tompkins. And the squirly guy with him is unbearable.

I like tompkins in boxing, but he's a little to happy in these late Saturday pac 10 yawners. That guy who was calling the UofL game today was about unbearable. He pronounced Louisville wrong each and every 200 times he said it today. At least research before you call a game to know how to say the city.

Wow,throwing touchdown passes with a 1:35 left in the game instead of keeping it on the ground.

I guess 63-17 was not enough

This game helped USC in so many ways and put USC one huge step back. They lost their #2 DB on the team to knee injury. Should be out for long time maybe the year. NOT GOOD AT ALL! :cursin: Now USC is expected to play @Oregon and @ASU with freshman DB's? Give me a break. Carroll will earn his paycheck the next 2 weeks against explosive offenses. There are only 2 positions on the team where USC can't have injuries. DT and DB.

Tonight people got to see the USC offense I been bragging about. I was laughed at here at MJ's when I said USC easily will average over 40ppg and wouldn't be shocked if they average over 50ppg. USC is the #1 passing team in the country and the #1 rushing team in the country. Simple as that. I am serious when I say this. YOU CAN"T STOP THE USC OFFENSE, you have to hope they stop themselves with either drop passes or penalties or errors. Too much talent and too many ways USC can beat you. Depth is unreal too.

I think USC scored 4 TD's in less than 2min. of time in the 1q. Amazing stat. Leinart is acting like an NFL QB checking off plays etc. You can't blitz USC because of Leinart AND the awesome OL. It is sick.

More importantly, tonight everyone got to see USC will be contending for a National Championship next year as well. A LEGIT contender. Booty was awesome and Patrick Turner is the real deal. USC 2nd string O would score over 20pts against Arky #1 defense. EASY! I think it was reported Arky #1 defense played the entire game. Or most of the game starters were in. :) Booty just might be the 2nd best QB in the country! :) :mj07:

Hell, the USC scout QB (4th string QB) came into game and threw a TD pass. How clutch is that? That is how prepared every single player is at USC. Credit to Carroll. ALL the USC players played and for the most part, EVERYONE excelled. Pretty amazing to see a 2nd and 3rd stringers compete so well against Arky. Amazing.

If USC didn't suffer that injury to DB Thomas, I be very very confident in USC running the table. Next 2 games will be killer. Why the fawk did he have to get his knee injured. DAMMIT! Now USC lost their #1 returning DB Wright and their #3 returning DB Thomas this season! OUCH! The backups are either not good and the talented ones are only freshman. GOOD LUCK DEFENDING ASU AND OREGON's passing attacks. LSU DB's who are supposed to be great (by SEC standards) looked like $hit. What are freshman for USC going to look like? Hopefully Carroll will show the country why he is the #1 DC! Otherwise I will be out $$$.
