Harrell has rib injury and Bobcats did win w/o him the other nite vs Ga So who although they have some talent have zero basketball IQ . Ga So lost by 3 but they were the worst coached teams I have ever seen. Every single offensive play was to drive to the basket with their head down and force shot after shot. Guys taking 40 ft shots,driving with head down into people. I don't understand how anybody could officiate this game.No spacing,no back door no ball movement.. and I don;t think Ga So had one guy get an assist the entire game. I had them at +2.5 and they lost by 3 this team was out of control from the jump ball. Tx st although missing their top scorer were disciplined enough to pull out a home win and cover.
Anyway So Miss more organized and think they win at home today and cover. Tx St did play well w/o their super star

Tough game to handicapp but although this will be the best team Texas has seen all year at least defensively think Longhorns have the gds to keep this close. Carr has been has been the point gd and 2 gd Hunter is also interchangeable. So many story lines on this game with Terry who was under Barnes etc Terry has done an great job with what happened to Texas and their coach. Tenn ranks No 1 in the country in a few def categories and playing at home. But Tex gds I think can neutralize some of the home court advantages . Texas front court is somewhat under sized but holding its own. Think Texas has enough offense to stay even and with Carr who I think is the best player out on the court today might be able to pull out a win let alone a cover. Should be a great game to watch and with so many stories behind the scenes you sometimes forget the game itself. Think Texas might pull off an upset and they are playing with some B-12 pride.
I tried doing the Kansas-Kentucky and have to pass. I actually thought Texas -1 over Tenn because I take the home court customary 3-4 pts if the opposing team has guards that can handle the pressure. Think Texas has Hunter and Carr and throw in Rice the 2 gd who sets up for his shot as teams concentrate on the other two. Texas inside has to show up with Allen and co inside/ Bishop is 6'6 and posting up going against the guys 3 =4 inches taller . Texas is on the road and Tenn at home should be rock'in. But I don't think Tenn has seen such good Gd play

I love ya Box but my boys play that defense as
good as anybody u will see this year…. Ours guards
can ball with anybody and won’t get rattled … this
crowd gonna be amped up and our home court means
alot to us!!!!! KY just snapped a long winning streak
there so can’t see us losing again so fast…. This
team loves Coach Barnes and play hard for him
for 40 mins!!!! They won’t let him lose again to his
old School !!!!!

Coach B,you are right. Tenn gds outplayed Texas gds. Texas inside is suspect and their one major weakness is inside the paint and size. But usually their gd play is so superior that they can get away with that and I always said down the road in march Madness it will catch up with them. But llke you said it caught up with them tonight, Vols are a better team and their defense was outstanding..Nice win Barnes has a nice team with size and defense.
