The miners return 8 letterman, 72% of their scoring, were one of the most improved teams in the country. Granted they lost their leading scorer, they return 3 starters that averaged DD.

I don't know anything about Northwestern St and couldn't find any info.

Northwestern State has that guard that transferred from Miami-Florida a couple years back.

Michael Byars-Dawson is his name. He can flat out shoot the rock and if he gets hot....LOOK OUT !!

UTEP is in my opinion the strongest play today. The first half I really like. I have seen Northwestern State play in each of the last 2 years and they were beaten by average Arkansas teams by more than 30 points. Plus I believe UTEP has a solid shot at making the NCAA tournament this year. UTEP should easily be ahead by double digits at the half.
