UTSA -8.5 over So Miss *****
wow..think this line is way off so have to go with the Roadrunners at home today. big. they are coming off a big win vs La Tech as a 6 pt dog..they won 89-73.. La Tech didn't even know what hit them...but again it was the jivan Jackson show..now no 2 in the nation in scoring he had 37 pts,6 assists and 5 bds...he is almost impossible to defend because he can penetrate with the dribble and can stop on a dime and hit a 20 ft jumper...plus he is so unselfish dishes the ball off on the drives. When I saw him a few weeks ago vs Tex St he was so unselfish giving a score up to help his teammates...but his shooting is unreal..can catch and shoot and is a dead eye.... how he ended up in San Antonio is beyond me..maybe because he was crazy and had no control...but he has his act together now ..and his partner Wallace is a 6'3 skinny kid with dreds down to his ass and a dead eye lefty... these 2 guys are the No 1 gd tandem in the nation in scoring..Roadrunners started out slow because they were pre-season 2nd or 3rd in Cong USA...but think now after blowing out top fav La Tech they have awoken... they had just lost to FAU and FIU in last games...Barisic was 4-5 from the 3 the other nite vs La T...they avg 78 pts a game and can rebound and shoot FT's..its there defense that gives up 75 pts a game ranking them 311th..
So miss is the wrong team to match up vs UTSA..they avg 66 pts a game ranking them in the 300's on offense..and one of the worst teams shooting 3's..they shoot 29% from the line..so a weak offensive team will still have trouble scoring vs a roadrunner defense ...UTSA just beat La Tech 16 and La Tech blew away So Miss ..Roadrunners win by double digits...maybe 15-20 pts
