Off the beaten path games today.. Most of you know I only cap a few conferences . MAAC,Sun,USA and Big 12 .. the one MAAC game today was St Peter- Fairfield I had Peter a -10 pt favorite .. and after spending time capping the game the line is St Peter -10 or -10.5 ..I couldn't see giving St Peter that many points in my life time. So will pass on the game since I see no advantage... So last night I had fun an capped a few teams that I know of,know the coaches,know their style of play and are familiar with. Usually will cap them when one of them makes the big Dance..
Holy Cross +8 over BU **
these guys split during the season with HC winning 68-66 in 2 ots and BU winning 83-76.
Colgate -6.5 over Army **
Best player on the court is Burns 2nd best player is Cummings ...both are Raiders.. these guys won 49 games in the past 2 years.. This year they are 8-1 this year. They played each other yesterday and Colgate won by 10.. Burns is the pre-season POY of the Patriot Conf.. Army has played well this season and I'm 0-1 going against them early in the season. But Colgate wins by double digits at Christi Arena at the Point where Box won 2 section championships there and with such a small crowd vs a huge visiting crowd even had about 200 cadets cheered for us. Plus the team we were playing had the No 1 scorer in the state and everyone wanted to see him . But we boxed his ass and he had 9 pts until garbage time with 2 minutes to go and we were up by 20. God I love that gym
Lafayette +3 over Loy Md **
Wait a minute.. The best player in the Pat conf is Jaworski.. not Burns this team is loaded with sharp shooters . they avg amost 80 pts a game.Greyhounds shoot 27% from the 3 and 66% from the Ft line. they are 1-8 for a reason. Shaq shoots better from the FT line. LOY won in Ot yesterday but today think the Leopards wake up.

Marq is still licking wounds from Nova loss 96-64... Marq can't win on the road esp not in New Jersey and Mamukelashvlli a 6'11 240 pound forward not center is the most skilled big man in the country let alone the Big East. Last year he had 26 vs Marq. and talk about seeing the floor he has point gd skills in passing
Arks Little rock Howell has left the team.. lets see who they play this week he is a tough kid to replace and even this week Ark LR although favored lost straight up.. not sure if the gods in Vegas picked up on that..
Did not go to the Texas-UTA game due to ice on the roads.. I should of gone but won big taking Tx St over UTA. Might have to go to san Antonio next week and see UTSA's last game .. tough saying goodbye to Jivan , but from the moment I 1st saw him going into the stands at north Texas fans I fell in love with him .. when his entire team and coach went to him on the bench and talked to him ..and once he settle down North Texas had taken the lead with 5 minutes left.. he went back in and I think hit 3 3's all swishes and that was all she wrote for North Texas
happy valentines day to everyone.. its also my daughters birthday and my wife reminds me the day after she was born I had a game and left the hospital to coach.. she tried to make me feel guilty .. it didn't work we won that game ...
