Had to do a double when this line came out last night. Tex St is still trying to figure out how they were blown away by LSU 84-55.. the other night. Its really simple. LSU is that much better then you in about 9 categories. So today you are going against Vandy who has the best player in the SEC in gd Pippen . Vandy has all its gds and fds 6'5,6'6 and athletic. Tex state has no post defenders but Vandy doesn't really have a post player since Robbins is out. Think Tex st defense will have problems with Vandy's gds/fds who are all mobile and quick . Stopping Pippen will be a major problem for the Bobcats .Vandy's defesne is not very good but Tx St offense is predictable. Harrell the 5'5 pt gd for Texas has outstanding ball control and court awareness but no way he is the pre-season Sun Belt POY Bobcats will see the best player today they go up against all year in Pippen .He can shoot dribble and has more offensive power then his father ever had. He is 6'3 and has to be one of the best players in the SEC. Can't see Bobcats slowing him down. Tx St does play good defense and Vandy defense is not to good But Bobcats don't have enough fire power in Ashberry Small ,Harrell etc to keep this game close. Plus Vandy coach Stackhouse is on the hot seat and not popular . He wants to start this season on a good note since he had a few players transfer out this year. Until they get Robbins back at the post their front court is average. But Bobcats have no threat inside what so ever. Vandy wins by double digits
