So. Cal
VaTech is on a 7 game win streak at home and only loss came from a 1 point loss to Bowling Green.

UNC are a young team that has only been on the road twice. they won a close one at Kentucky, and they lost badly to USC.

Roy William will not have the troops ready for this road game because they just got done playing NC State, and will be playing a tough Miami team after Vatech.

Enough of the reasons why UNC will beat themselves, how about why Vatech will beat UNC. Collins always plays great @ home and will expose the soft inexperienced front court of UNC. And how can you argue with Vatech home record? 7 game win streak? i got money says it will be 8. Take 1. or by up to 2, either way i see Vatech winning this 1 SU.

Trap???

Trap???

These games really confound me. There is NO reason for UNC to be favored here... none... zero.

Yet here they are favored at -1.5? This is ridiculus and makes me ponder to the why?

Va tech is legit period. They beat (basically) Duke at Duke and now they are home dogs??

Guys I went 0-4 yesterday. This is easily the most difficult year I have had in 5 years. Games like this jump out at me like crazy.

UNC has NO business being favored, yet here they are. What does that mean to us? Is it a trap? Is it a bad line? I honestly dont know. But I do know this, if it looks to good to be true then it probably is. Or maybe Vegas is banking that the public still loves UNC??? This is ABSOLUTELY a NO play for me. Love Va tech here. But too much... and when I love a team too much (personally) I have to take a step back and look at the matchups (again) and ALL angles.

Good luck to you that play this and I hope you win whatever side you got!!!

Keep in mind that UNC has beaten VTech in the last 17 straight games and have won 54 times out of 64 games played.

Try not to hang too much on that 7-game home win streak. In college basketball terms, a streak of seven is quite paltry. As stated above, they've lost 17-straight to the Tarheels and Tech is 1-6 against national champions with the last win against one coming in 1983.

I'm not necessarily arguing w/ your vtech pick (game is a pickem to me so line is where it needs to be) but justifying it on a 7 game win streak at home doesn't mean much when those wins are against:

William & Mary, St. John's, No.Carolina A&T, Morgan St., Marshall, Mount St.Mary's, Western Carolina, and Bowling Green

Not necessarilty the cream of the crop. Either way should be a tight game I think the first 10 minutes will be critical.

Good luck.
