For those of you who aren't familiar with this thread, Gaming Today, a Vegas paper that is published weekly, has a contest each year, where they pit all the Vegas Bookies against each other to select ALL lined NFL games ATS.
The winner get $1000 but it's the bragging rights that these bookies have for a year that makes this contest worth while. The Bookie that comes out on top is usually hitting at a 60% record for the year!
Now the AMAZING part of these selections! The Bookies have to make their selections at least a week prior to this weeks games, which makes them pick most of the time on Sunday night, BEFORE the SNF game is even over. Since this paper is printed on Monday for a Tuesday distribution, these Bookies really have no idea about injuries and such, unless they are obvious, when they make their picks. But let's face it, the Bookies should have a handle on what the public is going to bet way before time.
Bookies pick the entire card (record kept) & sometimes give out a Best Bet (no record kept).
