Too Dramactic, felt like a daytime soap opera!! Sorry!

With the gambling and hot chicks, this show is obviously aimed towards guys. So why in the hell is it on opposite MNF??? I saw this show advertised all summer, and was looking forward to it, and they put it on in the one time slot that I (and I imagine a lot of other guys like me) watch something. It makes no sense to me. I just can't imagine that it would get lower ratings on any other day of the week than going up against MNF.
That being said, I had my two TV thing going so I could watch both, and I liked it. Not too deep or anything, just good, fun entertainment. I will certainly watch this again.

not a bad first episode.........but come on.......can ya really see a casino manager begging a guy to leave with his $40 000 ...closing the table in a split second...I mean come on.......we all know how evil these casinos are......like that would really happen

And WHYYYY do they keep promoting the myth, in all the advertising and on the show, that card counting is cheating and card counters are cheaters? Card counting is not cheating. They can ask you to leave the casino if they suspect you of it, but it is not cheating. Call the Nevada Gaming Comission, call them, they will tell you card counting is not cheating. At least do some freaking research into your show if you're going through all that trouble.
They didn't kick anyone out for counting cards, the guy had a camera on his finger, if your talking about the other guy, they just asked him to leave, which I believe they are allowed to do.
You're right though, any normal casino would have at least taking back thier other $40,000. Not a bad run for that guy cash a check for $427 and end up with $1.2 mil, I was just in vegas, I didn't have any of those runs.
Good show though, think I will keep watching and flipping back to MNF

Sorry I dont know about the show, havent seen it yet, but in their promo and on their web site, they refer to "card counting cheaters." They can ask you to leave, thats it. Even if they say, "Come with us downstairs so we can take your picture," they have no legal authority to detain you for card counting.
Anyway, I'll check it out on Tivo tonight, have that and CSI from last night to get through. I usually like James Caan, ratings wise though to be up against CSI Miami and MNF though.

Not a bad show at all, like Playmakers I expected very little so when it was OK I was pleased.

I recorded "Las Vegas" downstairs so I could watch the game. I just had a chance to watch it this AM. If someone could please answer one question for me. Towards the end of the show, my cable went out for about 2 mins and then the show was over.
Dan was sitting in his car at the light when the homeless dude(Tom I think) with the bunny slippers was crossing the walkway in front of him. He was all cleaned up and dressed nice. Dan offers him a ride and then the cable went out. What in the world was he doing all dressed up? Was he just acting like a flake? Was he playin' Dan?

They dont really say, although it looks like Dan is thinking about it. Basically the bum walks away dressed in a suit with his bunny slippers in a little backpack, thats the end of the show. Never really alludes to if the bum was a guy playing him as now the bum was shaved and talked fine, or if it was just he cleaned himself up with his 40K.

Yeah she was solid in her three or so 90210 years, or so I heard from someone who used to watch the show...
Mmm... Vanessa Marcel. Yes, she was quite appetizing on 90210. You really could do a lot worse than the three main chicks they have on the show.
