Having real trouble getting started here.
the last two weeks i just looked at the matchups and the one
i wanted to play just jumped out. not this week. So if anyone out
their has the feeling try and send a little my way.

got a few here that i'm looking in to. will wait until after busch race and always like to see happy hour speeds. lot of the teams
use different shock combinations for quailfying and cannot get a
real feel of how racy the cars will be.

Sterling Marlin -140 over Dale Jarrett
Gonna play sterling over everybody this year.

Kurt Busch -115 over Matt Kenseth
Kenseth has his fun last week, this week its the hometown boys
turn.

Terry Labonte even over Bobby Hamilton

Jeff Gordon -115 over Tony Stewart
this one will be close. Gordon drives a chevy, stewart a pontiac
feel that chevy has the advantage, thus the play

Dale Jr. +130 over Kevin Harvick
Jr finally shows up this week.

Bill Elliott +140 over Johnny Benson
Need to look into this more, but Dodge is far superior to the pontiac. The pontiac doesnot produce as much downforce as Dodges and downforce will be key. Dodge got a front end change
i heard, dont know what that means.

Ricky Rudd -115 over Dale Jarrett
strickly a play against Jarrett. to tell the truth i hope both hit the
wall, Jarrett just a lap earlier. Love it when yates f*ks up.

Then if that happens Rusty +120 over Rudd
and Rusty hit the wall next lap. Damn that would be nice.

believe it or not, todd bodine isnt swiss cheese at this track. he was a top 5 guy last year, and believe that he qualified well too. a guy that is racing for his sponsorship life, (trying to get a sponsor, that is) nay not be a horrible bet this week. at least in some matchups

I would watch betting against Benson, he has run well here even though the pontiacs have trouble with teh down force

I would be extremely careful about betting Sterling Marlin because of his new, unproven car being used in Vegas. If you are interested, I wrote up more about it in the las vegas 400 thread.

My best bet (at the Palms)
Mark Martin -6.5 position (-110) vs Elliott Sadler

very bad day here went 3-7

Guess it was bound to happen that Sterlin won the race. Never thought it would be this weekend though. I think that these Dodges are for real.

will do much better at Atlanta. see next week.
