:cursin: What the hell was that? If he was bobbling the ball, I'm on steroids and I'm only 165 pounds! That was the second bullsht call he made tonight. The other was incomplete pass when the receiver has both hands under the ball. I want to see this zebra fined or taken away for two blown calls like this. :sadwave:

He had to have possession to be ruled down by contact he certainly did not have possession went SF's tumbling and bumbling receiver tryed to roll onto him and create contact to take him down.

This is one of those cases were the GAME OFFICIAL should say ....... "BY RULE................."

They got it correct !

It was also really obvious that the ball went under& BETWEEN the receiver's hands ONTO THE GROUND as he tried to conceal the bounce with his body on the other call.

They also got that one correct !

Did you have more camera angles than what they showed on ESPN? Because based on what they showed on tv I don't see how anyone could make a definitive determination on either side. No way they had enough evidence to overturn the call on the field.

Blackman it is simple enough for me, I saw arms about 10-12 inches apart when the ball arrived. Go measure the width of a Wilson Official NFL football they are about 7 inches wide. The ball went thru his hands.

IF his hands werer side by side or 1-3 inches apart then YES I might have been/probably was a catch.

I am done with it.

Good luck the rest of the season.

:thefinger :nono: :nutkick :bs: I believe the rule is............if there is not disputable evidence, a play cannot be overturned and the ruling on the field stands. Correct me if I'm wrong? You know damn sure that if this game is in SF, the refs would not overturn a disputable play like those two. It's full of bullsht, that's how I see it.

The NFL is NOT-FAWKIN-LEGITIMATE. ...

College is much better.

NFL is ruthless in marketing. Refs are making mistakes. Some of the coaches are complete idiots, for instance Mike Tice of The Vikings on Sunday. He challenged 2 plays in the 1st half that he had NO WAY of WINNING--now he has no challenges left.

Chronic lying about injuries. Bret Favre was the good one Sunday. All you kept reading about is how he can't hold the ball etc.

Ya got guys playing hurt, afraid of their jobs. You have some guys that are doing all kinds of stuff During the week and the nite before games. Being arrested all the time.

Ya got the morons like JABAR GAFFNEY on The Texans yesterday that lost a touchdown thru his immature horsesheit.

Some of these players are really classless assholes. I'm old school, Act like you've been there before.

Once these players get to the NFL- The Purity is gone. Too much money involved...

I don't even like watching it anymore, it's so bad. Same for the NBA.. it is awful. I DON"T EVEN ROOT for my JETS anymore, i could care less..the game has so deteriorated and corrupted by money, drugs, booze, thugs. I wish they'd take their gangsta bullsheit somewhere else.

Just my two cents.

I hate instant replay. If there is a bad call then there is a bad call. That's the beauty of sports. Sometimes the ref gets it right, sometimes he doesn't. I teach Phys. Ed. and always talk about how the ref is human. Well, with instant replay, 4 or so plays a game the ref is not human.

I just don't like the whole replay thing.

I have more reasons but I have to go warp the minds of the youth.

I was at the game and that catch happened right in front of us, my first thought was no catch, and the replay didn't really give any evidence either way, so I dont' know what the ref saw on the replays that showed something different, but the call should have stood as was called on the field, a catch.
