My local vet reports that although baseball has not "gone to the dogs" yet, the outlook is encouraging :mj23: Using the closing lines at WL as his data base, the overall doggie record for the young season stands at 62-86. Only true dogs (those with a closing line in the +) were used (WL uses an 8 cent line and some games end up with both as small favs). A deficit of -426 (a lot better than what most of us are doing at this point) is not bad this early into the year of bases. But.....if you throw out that first week (of which Monday produced an 0-13 day for the mutts....that one still hurts as I had 6 of those pups) the doggies are hitting at 43-49 since last Saturday. (and last Saturday they went 8-5, +1084...which I know means nothing at all for today) This shows a profit of +761 for the week. I'LLTAKE IT!!
Going with those canines that lost yesterday and a handfull of favs for the big card today....
