But the vet's on TV latley make it sound right. At the legion it's closer 60/40. They all say the same thing his voting record for vets sucks.

You are correct--it can't be

Where ever you got you info I would guess they are using something beside voting stats--unless confined to certain areas--would expect donations-attendence at speaking enganements etc.

You don't have any info on who and how they tabulated it--do you?
I would be interested.

Didn't see anything there--

How about this I'll take a sizable wager he don't 1/2 the votes. Any takers :)

You sure they weren't speaking of veterans of gangs? ;)

In the NY Post today, a columnist (conservative of course, there are no other types that write for the paper) mentioned the fact that campaign donations from troops overseas were 6 to 1 in favor of Obama.

No source mentioned and of course that wasn't the point of the column, just a small aside, but I wouldn't dismiss this out of hand.

I was surprised, Wayne. Seriously.

I would be interested in your 'theory.'

I assume that you figure the black military folk overseas are pouring all of their riches into Obamas campaign.

But 6/1? From military people overseas?

Maybe they just want to come home. I dunno.

But of course, overall, active duty military people will vote republican.

Hey a ??? that worked. I thought it was high at 5/2. Thats why I asked. My legion 60/40 been that way since July. Lot of younger guys there. And in my neck of the woods most none black. Not that it should matter.

They tried to get more votes from military by eliminating some time constraints and and you know who axed that--same party that thinks felons are disenfranchised.

Matt I was surprised also--not only was more donations but also # of donaters--saw it on fox grapevine --forgot their source--would have been interested in how poll was taken.
