Michael Vick makes Pro Bowl list, is anyone else shocked ? Can anyone make a reason for why he would make this list ? Brunnel , Manning, they both played W A Y better then vick. When I saw the list I got sick. I couldn't even eat my lunch. WOuld love to hear how you all feel about Vick making the list. I have him rated at the bottom as far as his numbers go. Interesting to see what others will write and I am dieing to read any reason why he would make it this far.

Isn't P-B selection based purely on public voting?
To everyone involved's credit, I think they get most positions right each year (which does actually surprise me!), but there are always a few 'favourites' who get a ticket through nothing more than reputation.
Brunnel, Manning...add another 15 QB's that have all played better!

)I agree with you, it's utterly ridiculous that the public is so in love with this hack. It's always going to be this way though because they're enamored with his athleticism. Nevermind the fact that he's one of the worst passers I've ever seen. Here's the thing though... Vick being overrated is a HUGE plus for anyone who caps games. The public's love of Vick is a big part of the reason why the Falcons are overvalued every week in regards to the pointspread. I think a lot of people have the false perception that he is a good QB, so they bet on the Falcons constantly. I've taken advantage of it big-time this year, so I can't complain too much.

The NAACP would cry racism if he wasn't selected. We need at least one black QB on the pro bowl team. BTW - He probably is the most selected player on Madden.

Someone posted earlier that if Vick gets hammered a few times running, he tends to pass more. It was certainly true in Chi. He does not belong in Hawaii.
