Outright plays (total stake per play: 1pt)

Brandt Snedeker to win 20/1 e.w. @ GolfingGods
Only graduated from Vanderbilt University last year and has made quite an impressive on the Nationwide Tour in the meantime, finishing in the top-10 in seven of his last eleven Tour starts. One of those was in the Virginia Beach Open last year when 2nd with one round to play and looked capable of adding a top-10 in the MCI Heritage on the PGA Tour last week until a final round 78. Against much easier opposition and on a much easier course, he is deservedly one of the favourites for this title.

Bubba Watson to win 50/1 e.w. @ GolfingGods
One of the longest hitters on Tour, Watson finished 11th on his only previous visit in 2003 and though he faded over the weekend - he was 2nd after two rounds - it was only his 5th Tour start. With excellent form recently - he was the 1st round leader in the Louisiana Open four weeks ago and then finished 2nd (via a playoff) and 1st by eight shots in two starts on the Tight Lies Tour the following two weeks - he could certainly improve on his previous course form this week.

Kyle Thompson to win 66/1 e.w. @ GolfingGods
Has finished in the top-25 on the Nationwide Tour Money List in each of his two years on that Tour, so should be poised to earn his PGA Tour Card very soon and should finally secure that maiden win very soon also. He has finished 2nd on this Tour four times, including this event last year when he held a two-shot lead over eventual champion, James Driscoll, with one round to play. He played well before the weekend in the last Tour event, the Louisiana Open, to lie 6th at the cut, so there is enough form there to be able to repeat last year's performance.

FINAL RESULT: 0-3; -3.00pts

Snedeker 18th
Watson 5th
Thompson 56th

What a frustrating day. At one stage, we had the leader in two events today, but while Watson was one of the early final round leaders in this event, he had three consecutive bogeys to end his challenge. He finished one shot out of the top-4 places. Similar disappointment with Snedeker after they had started the final round in 2nd and 5th place respectively.

Nationwide Tour ytd: 0-8; -8.00pts
