I received the following E-mail from a friend. I actually did what it say's in the e-mail up to the point where it say's to delete the file, luckily at this point I went and did a little research before deleting the file and found out it was a Hoax. I added a link at the bottom that explains the Hoax and also tells you how to reclaim the file if you deleted it!
Dear Friends and Family,
We found a virus that was e-mailed to us. You need to check to see
whether your PC has been infected by a virus called jdbgmgr.exe. This is a
hidden virus, it lurks in your address book and automatically forwards
itself and is then transmitted to all the contacts on your list. The virus
cannot be detected by MacAfee or Norton and it lies dormant for 14 days
before becoming active and causing damage within your computer system.
However, it can easily be removed from you PC before it has time to wipe
out your addresses and/or computer files (archive). To detect and get rid
of the virus, do the following: 1. Click on START menu at the bottom left
hand corner of the screen. 2. Click on FIND, chose "Files or folders..."
and type in the name of the virus: jdbgmgr.exe 3. Choose for the search
to be carried out in unit (C
4. Click on SEARCH NOW or FIND 5. If
the virus appears (the icon is a small grey teddy bear) with the name
jdbgmgr.exe - DO NOT OPEN IT!!! 6. RIGHT click on the icon (using the
right button of your mouse) and chose the option DELETE, which will send
the program (i.e. virus) to the recycle bin. 7. Open the BIN and EMPTY
it. VERY IMPORTANT: If you have found the virus in your computer,
forward this message to all the people in your e-mail contact list, before
the virus has time to become active and cause damage to their computers.
