OK so it's getting boring now here's another tournament for you
One player to be interested in Nic Henning last years winner on this course seems to have an affinity with the event as he finished 2nd the year before and T4th the year before that albeit both at different courses
40-1 seems very big at Firststake in what is a weak field. In his last tournament he finished T17th at Valderama which is creditable

Nothing boring about making money

First off, kudos to First Stake for pricing up such events. I can understand many members' hesitancy for signing up with a UK book - high juice & ties lose rule - but they really look to be a great book for golf betting, like Multisports before them which they took over.

Look forward to sharing a world view of pro golf with you Ian next year - the benefits of having our own golf forum - though don't have anything for this event. Will be extending my database to the Sunshine Tour in time for the post-New Year resumpion - will throw up some interesting thread titles! Any means of making money on a 'Cock of the North' event sounds good to me

If you really want an outsider in this tournament try McLean 3rd here last year and 3rd in his tournament one before last,he also has a habit of playing the same venue well 2 years in a row
100-1 Firststake 66/80 most places

Ian, if you're looking for outstanding value - look for Desvonde Botes 66/1 @ Coral. Not my tip, but Clive's [golf-betting.co.uk], but having looked at it I agree with him

William Hill have him 14/1, Sportingbet 18/1 and First Stake as high as 25/1, but Coral are totally out of touch with this line. Unfortunately it is only available via telephone - the event is not quoted on their online Eurobet site, but worth playing tax on those odds! He won his last event on the Sunshine Tour and he won the European Tour qualifying School last month as well; that more than makes up for poor past performances in this event

Saw Clives' writeup and was surprised at Botes but Coral do come out with some odd ones from time to time.
As I am no longer betting on outrights will pass. Was hoping there would be a few match bets here especially Firststake with Henning
We can but dream!

Henning got caught in the severe afternoon winds and shot a 79 to finish the 2nd round on 4 over!! but still made the cut doubtful that he can recover to a place finish although he will be out earlier tomorrow before the wind gets up
