Opposing Coetzee who has struggled since he left South Africa at the start of the season: he finished 3rd in the Joburg Open but since he changed continent, he has lost in teh first round of the World Matchplay and finished in the top-50 in just one event. Apparently, there were some difficulties with his clubs not arriving in Bulgaria, but he has not been playing as well with those clubs as he has done in previous seasons.

Carl Pettersson to beat Thorbjorn Olesen +100 @ 5Dimes and Stan James [available generally]
Olesen has blown hot and cold this season: he finished 7th in the Arnold Palmer Invitational and 6th in The Masters, but he has missed his last two cuts whereas Pettersson has made his last five cuts. Enough of a difference for a small play at these odds.

Very surprised to see Pettersson available at this price in this matchup. He has finished mc, mc, 68th in his last three starts whereas Pettersson was 4-under-par and totally dominated his match against Olesen today.

Quarter-final plays (2pts):

Felipe Aguilar to beat Scott Jamieson +100 @ Stan James, Paddy Power, ToteSport, The Greek, and BetFred [available generally]
Opposing Jamieson even though he did beat Pettersson yesterday. That was down to Pettersson - Jamieson was 1-over-par when he won on the last hole. Aguilar was 5-under-par when he beat Stenson yesterday afternoon and with two top-10 finishes in his last three starts, he looks a very underdog in this matchup.

Carl Pettersson to beat Francesco Molinari +110 @ 5Dimes, Paddy Power and The Greek [available generally]
Molinari has looked good in both rounds this week, whereas Pettersson has only looked good in one. But Molinari had missed his last three cuts before this event, so his confidence cannot be particularly strong at the moment despite his putting this week. I'll back Pettersson to play as he did in day one and put Molinari under pressure.
