I had va tech last week vs maryland and that defense did pretty much what i thought it would do. No disrespect to texas or their fans or even usc fans but am i the only one who thinks that va tech just might be the best team in the county? They play in what is arguably the best confrence in the country right now. I am not even a va tech fan either. I am a college football fan in general and nobody seems to talk about va tech i'm telling you these guys are good. That defense is awesome and that qb vick is not half bad.I am from big12 country(norman ok) so i have no ties with va tech what so ever. Having said yhat i love va tech at home -13 against bc.

Do I think VTech will win? Yes. Do I think BC will play well on the road? Yes. Am I comfortable with the spread? No. Boston College is a much better team than Maryland, no matter when/where they play, IMHO. IN Blacksburg is quite a +, but with BC, you never know. I am holding off on this one to see how things fluxuate.

Keep this in mind about the VP/BC game...in 2003 Tech was favored to win by 11 and lost outright27-34. Also BC is the last team to beat Tech at home on a Thursday night 20-14. Tech lost on a Wed. night in 2002 to WVU. Tech has covered the spread 6 out of the last 9 against BC bu the last two 2002 28-23 didn't cover, 2003 lost. Did not play last year.

The weather is suppose to be mid 30's with scattered rain showers. Whoever can control the ball will win this game. I'm a Hokie and I'm telling all of you, big offensive lines like BC always give the Hokies trouble. The only wildcard that can change this game is Beamerball....special teams, defensive turnovers and rabid fans. Trust me there will be less than 500 BC fans at this game there are never more than that which make the trip down from Chestnut Hill, MA.
