as a Lakers fan since my family moved from freezing Chicago to sunny southern Calif in 1963, I'd say I've been thru lots of ups and downs over the years lol
and while I have no realistic expectations for the Lakers to be the first team ever to come back and win a series after being down 3-0, I do expect an effort tonight that will be enough that at some point the Nuggz say, "maybe that extra parking and concessions revenue IS a good reason to just not worry about this one anymore" and call off the horses and let the Lakers fans bask in 1 more victory.... could happen!
Nuggz took their foot off the gas and nearly lost gm 1..
Lakers had control of gm 2 (but a great comeback by Jazz as Lebron kept clankin 3s)..
Nuggz had gm 3 as Murray was allowed to do whatever he wants outside the 3pt line, and Lakers still came bk to take the lead early in 4th before letting Murray bomb a few that broke their backs.
and now... gm 4
Davis.. Reaves.. LeBron (driving Not taking 3s) and Ruuuiiii were the only Lakers in dbl figures the other day (and none over 28).. that won't cut it.
Russell... Schroder... Walker IV... Vanderbilt... ALL need to contribute (by that I mean, make some f***ing shots!)... if that can happen (and it can, think vs Warriors)

well good news is.... as I rushed to put my bets in at the buzzer... I played 1h on ML and -2.5.. .and ONLY played the ML/OV parlay... so won almost enough to offset what I lost on the "series" futures I played lol
after Denver won gm 3, I played the Nuggz to "win it all" and layed 600/400.... today I looked and it was -213 on Nuggz at my shop

anywayz.... Final Four ain't bad... but man... the Lakers need 1 more 3pt shooter... Reaves is the only constant, and tonite he hardly took any! Made their ONLY 3ptr in the 2h I tink...

Lebron had the mojo in the 1st half, and limped home.. Davis had effort, but couldn't finish quite often... exciting gm..

So glad you ended up w the bets that you did! I've been super busy last few days. Working a lot of overtime and pet sitting, etc and just never had any time to check the board or say anything.

I've been on a nice little run though last several days. Mostly ending up w the underdog plus points (and buying 1 or 1.5) and also taking the moneyline. Last night I put a few bucks on Lakers to win the series @ 14-1 odds. Just a little insurance policy lol. But had Denver plus 5 and ML.

With this series I kept thinking things like, I've got a 1-seed vs a 7-seed and I'm getting points. I was so tempted to take the Celtics in Game 3 though but when I saw Heat were an underdog at home I went w it and took +5 as well as ML.

Anyway, not sure about tonight yet. I had forgotten but last night I also took Denver/Miami ML Parlay. I played it small but it pays out 3-1. I might hedge and take either Celtics ML and/or Celtics +3 (buying 1 1/2) and just guarantee one or possibly middle it.

Who do you like tonight? Also, good luck w the Nuggets. I'm thinking Heat is going to win it all but who knows. I don't know how they'll match up but it should be an interesting series.

well after getting the Heat/Celtics bassackward the other night, I couldn't pull the trigger on either side... but took UN 217 (bought 2)... and "Live Betting" I took Heat + 17.5 for $100 to win $65.. dats it so far.. GL on the +10!

I hit first half OV 107.5 for $70... hit Heat +4.5 for $222.. had a par Heat ML/UN... lost in last tenth of a second...

hope they remember to block out on Monday nite lol..

I've got a future I played before the series started.. Heat 73/295...

Celts will prob be 8.5-9.5 faves again at home... so the only 'Hedge" possible is to gonna be in-game "Live Bet" IF the Heat get up by double digits or so ... danggg so close tonite tho!

Yeah that really sucked. I made $$ but would have been so nice to hit the ML as well. I didn't think about it until today and not saying there's anything to it but I've heard people talk about the 19 year moon cycles and how it can come into play if this stuff is at all rigged, etc. Only reason I thought of that was b/c even earlier today I was like, well damn it was also a Boston team that came back from 3-0 when Red Sox beat Yankees and sure enough it was in 2004.

Thing that really pisses me off. I took LAL series when they went down 3-0. I would have taken Celtics same way but it was only 7.5-1 which isn't much for something that has literally never happened before. Just didn't seem worth it at that price.

All that said though, lol, I'm gonna take Heat and all those points. I know how Game 7 usually goes to home team and there can be blowouts as well. Just a lot of points for a team that was up 3-0 and has looked unstoppable throughout the playoffs.

Anyway, a lot of rambling. I bought it up to 9. Heat +9 and a small play on ML @ +250. Good luck to us! lol
