What do you think about Clipjoint in a blowout tonight coming off two non covers especially with Spurs & Hou on deck? If anything they should be trying to eye that 4 spot...:0003

I just took a look at that one. I must say, first and foremost, I do not trust the Clippers. Especially with a large lead going into the fourth quarter. Their second unit is dismal and I've seen them let numerous lower-tier teams creep in with a backdoor cover late in games. If I make a play on LAC tonight, it would be in the first quarter or the first half. I could see them going into the half with a decent lead and Carlisle (coaching mismatch alert) making the necessary halftime adjustments to keep it close late.

You will rarely see a better in-game opportunity than this. More Spurs at the next timeout.

Is it possible that Pop is purposely trying to lose this game to screw over the Lakers?? I guess he assumes that he can't catch the Warriors for #1. Have to think the Lakers will tank the 4th quarter here...

Wow, I had this game nailed down pretty much exactly. Clippers cover 1st qtr and 1st half (shame I didn't play either) and then go into the 4th qtr with a 17 point lead, only to blow the cover late. A little too predictable it seems. ldabdou, I hope you didn't play the Clips for the full game. That late cover was garbage, but not unexpected.

Shame the Lakers won yesterday. That really hurt. I'm baffled by it, really. They now have a 53.1% chance of losing their top 3 pick to Philly and it could get worse if, somehow, Orlando catches them. I didn't know Pop wasn't planning on playing Leonard or Aldridge in the 2H, but when they came back to tie it in the 3rd qtr, I was sure the game was over. At some point in the 4th quarter, it entered my mind that maybe Pop was trying to sabotage the Lakers future by letting them win and thus damaging their draft pick odds, but the Spurs officially allowed GSW to clinch the conference with that loss so that doesn't make too much sense.

Still the main story here is, what is this shitty Lakers team doing? On one hand, it looks like Luke is trying to lose, holding out Russell and Young while playing bums like Metta and Brewer. On the other, you have guys like Ennis and Nwaba (WHO?!?) playing their butts off to secure a future roster spot in the NBA. I just don't get it. If you're going to lose, do it right. I'm sure there are a lot of pissed of Lakers fans out there today. I know I'm pissed about losing a big chunk of my bankroll on one stupid, pointless game.

Still, the NBA (and NY) fan in me is happy they won. I do hope they lose their draft pick for this and the Memphis win (in which I also lost a live wager on Sunday), but something tells me the NBA will rig it so that Ball ends up in LA. It just makes too much sense, but winning two games in a row with four games left doesn't.

I took the clips -11 on da buy. It was BS...Deandre rebounded the ball off a miss with 10 sec left and the ref said he was outta bounds in which he wasnt. Of course they hit a 3 at the buzzer for the push right after that..Thanks for the response! I'll take the push...:0008

I was actually watching live and it did look to me like his foot was on the line. Then again, I was rooting for my live wager on the Mavs to come in so maybe I was biased. Ragardless, this game proves, once again, that the Clippers cannot be trusted with a large lead going into the fourth quarter. That garbage time unit of Felton, Speights, Rivers, Bass and Johnson/Pierce is not one you want your money riding on.
