No plays yesterday but i was pumped when my Illini finally got a quality win on the road. It was about time Frankie Williams started to play hard for most of a game. They almost gave it away, though but a W is a W at this point in the season for this team. I got 5 plays for today instead of the usual 4, kinda like tonights card.
Miami, FL -5.5, this is a revenge game against St. John's who they lost to in NYC 60-71. There is nothing this team would like better than to beat this team after shooting a measley 29.8%.
Minnesota -1.5, everyone and their mother i think likes this game tonight so that is what kinda scares me about this one. Remember UAB/Memphis. But how can you go against a team that is shooting over 55% in every one of their opponents the last 4 games. The have had huge wins over Ohio St., Indiana, and @ Iowa. This team is just on fire, hopefully they can keep that fire for this game.
Southern Ill. -2, i think southern wins this game fairly easily against SMS who they beat 84-74 @ home in their first meeting. Southern is on track to win the MVC and there is no reason for a letdown against a mediocre MVC.
Northern Ill. +9.5, tough team to beat at home, very scrappy team that usually keeps it close. Playin an extremely hot team in Kent, who has gone 14-1 SU and 12-2-1 ATS.
Florida International +13, a very good team Ats and finds ways to keep it close. Will most likely be overlooked by UNLV, who has been playin well and are coming off some big wins over the past 5 games.
