Need some help figuring this out. My local uses a 3rd party website for his clients to bet through. Anyways, the Oakland/ Buffalo game is at BUF -3.5 with -105 juice. I wanted to buy the half point down to -3 but the juice was then -155. First of all, I have never seen a half point cost that much. Secondly, when going in and taking Oakland and trying to buy the half point the other way to -4 the juice is -125. Isn't there a point to where the juice from both sides should always equal out? Is this just a piece of shit website or am I missing something? Thanks for the help.

That's pretty high juice but books or whoever it is name the price for the play. From what I have seen there are no set points where the juice equals out, that fluctuates from play to play.

You might want to look into other options, 5dimes has it currently at Buf -3 for -115. On the flip side, some books do not offer much in the way of alternative run lines either, for example Dimes is only offering up to 3.5 for Oak. at -130. The options typically increase on or near gameday but sometimes you have to play a parlay to buy up/down more than a point. Look around, you can always keep the local.

I guess that's my question. Is it just a website that is ripping players off when they try to buy a point? Same local used a different 3rd party website last year and I never saw anything over -130 when buying a half point. Always wanted to use local due to the payment problems with gambling websites. How does 5dimes take payments?

I've seen Buf-3 at around -120. If you are going to wager often, you ought to set up an account with an offshore book. SBR rates them, A+ to awful. The A+, A books have a variety of deposit methods.

I've seen that many times when the spread is around a FG. That is totally normal to have -3.5 -120 or whatever and if you buy 1/2 pt then is shoots up to -150 or so. To me, that is saying they are projecting this game to be fairly close. FG either way. That's my guess.....

Initial feeling on this game is that the Bills are going to do their best to slow down Raiders run game by putting 8-9 men in the box and make Campbell beat them which is highly unlikely. I know everyone is gung ho over the Raiders defensive line, but let me tell you....this Bills revamped D is pretty nasty themselves!!! West coast to East coast early start game for Oakland can't be good for them also. My personal feeling is that the Bills will win this game convincingly.
