WagerWeb.com Posts Odds On Kansas City Royals Possibly Losing More Games This Season Than Any Team in MLB History

San Jose, Costa Rica ? May 30, 2006 ? WagerWeb.com (http://www.wagerweb.com), one of the world?s largest online sportsbooks taking in more than 56,000,000 wagers since its launch, posted odds today asking bettors if the Kansas City Royals will lose more games than any other team in Major League Baseball history. As of today, the Royals are on pace for a 40-122 season. This would break the current record of the 2003 Detroit Tigers (43-119 --162 game season) and the 1962 New York Mets (40-120 -- 160 game season).

?Our entire staff agrees the Royals will have no problem blowing away this record by five games or more,? says Dave Johnson, CEO of WagerWeb.com. The Florida Marlins and Pittsburgh Pirates are in similar territory, but he says, ?The Royals organization has trouble from the top down, not to mention a general manager who can?t get fired because no one wants to take his place.?

Odds posted on WagerWeb.com are as follows http://www.wagerweb.com/sportsbook/betting-odds/futures-baseball.html:
