WAGERWEB POSTS ODDS ON: "WILL AMERICAN IDOL JUDGE PAULA ABDUL BE FIRED FROM THE SHOW OVER HER ALLEGED AFFAIR WITH FORMER CONTESTANT COREY CLARK?"

(Zapote, Costa Rica, 5 MAY, 2005) -As if TV's hottest show needed any more publicity, Fox's American Idol was the focus of an ABC News Primetime Live special last night. In the report, former contestant Corey Clark, from the 2003 season of Idol, alleges that he had a secret sexual romance with Idol judge Paula Abdul. He also claims that Abdul helped him pick out his songs, clothes, and even paid to get his hair cut. These allegations come on the heels of Abdul being linked to pain medication addiction.

Abdul denies Clark's claims and even goes as far as to say that he is "an admitted liar." Clark was kicked off the show during the 2003 season because it was found out that he had been arrested for a felony and did not let the show's producers know. Clark is about to release his first solo album, including a song about Abdul and the alleged affair. Whether it is true or not, it has given both Corey Clark and American Idol a tremendous amount of publicity. Clark may need as much as he can get, but Idol can never seem to get enough.

"This is a very explosive story and we have had tremendous interest regarding it," said Wagerweb.com CEO Dave Johnson. "American Idol is the most watched TV show in the United States and this controversy only adds to its popularity. We have already received a large amount of wagers on Abdul being fired from the show due to her indiscretions."

I think NO is a REALLY good bet. She didn't even admit guilt, and i'm not sure this guy has the proof to back his statements up.
