WAKE FOREST +13 (Saturday) - These offenses are very similar in that they both have outstanding running games but don?t throw the ball well, which benefits Wake at this inflated line. The Demon Deacons are averaging 27.8 points per game, thanks to a whopping 254.2 rushing yards per contest. Because they have been able to control the line of scrimmage, they have been competitive despite a 2-3 record. They lost 2 of their games by 4 points and 1 point respectively, with their only bad loss coming to an excellent North Carolina State team on the road. Also, Wake gave Georgia Tech all they can handle last season in a 38-33 Yellow Jackets victory, despite Georgia Tech having a clearly superior team. I see no reason why this game can?t go right down to the wire now that the talent level is much closer.
